"I was replacing a Florence brand set of mailboxes but I couldn't use them because they didn't offer the color options we wanted for our lobby. I opted to do the replacement installation myself. It was not as easy as in-and-out because the rough opening requirements for a set of 4 Salsbury boxes requires a bit more horizontal clearance. They might have fit anyway given the clearance the framer typically allows, but the rough-in 2X6's were not in squarely, so I had to chisel out some amount of the framing to get the boxes to fit. But once done they fit beautifully. I was a bit concerned about tweaking the frames out of square during installation but they proved to be much more ridged than I had thought and I experience no problems getting them tightly aligned and well screwed in. "
