That being said, the smaller size did the trick, and looks really good! In our case, when we chose the mailbox, the webpage listed the products (with product numbers, photos, prices, etc.) for anything you may need (with extra options) for installation... so helpful. "

I started out my mailbox search by looking at Home Depot but when this particular mail box was out of stock at HD I liked it so much I went right to the actual manufacturer. The initial shipment arrived with damage (astonishing when taking into a count that: a) the packaging was superbly done and b) the mail box was built like a Sherman tank. A few uploaded pics and a quick email to customer service and a replacement was on it's way and arrived a few days ago. This mailbox was made in California and I like to buy as local as humanly possible so scored on that point. Going to hang it as soon as we get the next warm spell. If you are looking for a sturdy, neatly done, heavy duty mailbox with a smoothly closing lid,for in town delivery, this is worth checking out. Got my money's worth."
