"I purchased the pieces originally to extend my stock of adapters. Since then, I received a pair of adapters from the factory. While the factory adapters were meant for extremely hard usage, they don't provide any better service than what the Markertek pieces do, though the factory pieces are twenty times the price. What I am assuming is that with careful installation the Markertek pieces may last for many installation cycles.
