"Customer service at more4mymoney.com simply doesn’t exist. I placed an order for a Delonghi Retro Burr Grinder (DHDCG59) and Delonghi Espresso/Cappuccino Maker (DHEC140B) on December 5, 2005 so that there would be plenty of time for them to arrive in time for Christmas. My order was confirmed the same day, however the grinder wasn’t shipped until December 12th. I was notified that the grinder was shipped, and there was a comment that the espresso maker would be shipped “seperately in next day or two”. The espresso maker was never shipped.
Beware any online retailer that doesn’t have a phone number anywhere on their website. I was forced to communicate with more4mymoney.com via e-mail through a form on their website. They did not respond to at least two e-mails – even after I threatened to dispute the charge with my credit card company. Finally, on December 22nd I disputed the charge with my credit card company, and sent more4mymoney.com a final e-mail indicating that I had done so. They finally responded with a note that they were refunding the cost of the espresso maker. However, they did not refund the cost of shipping.
I have three big issues with this online retailer: 1) They sold an item that they obviously did not have in stock, 2) There is no way to contact a human in person, and 3) They charged me for the full amount of the order before actually shipping all of the items. At the very least, this vendor has some ethical issues.
Needless to say, I am extremely dissatisfied with this retailer, and have no intentions of ever buying from them again. Buyer beware!"
"If you think you will need the slightest bit of consideration or respect as a consumer, or any customer service (including even a receipt by email) at all, don't expect it from more4mymoney.com.
I got my product on time, but everything else was dismal. I didn't receive a receipt by email, and could not contact the company at all. There was no customer service: despite the fact that I emailed the company repeatedly, and put in repeated requests in the customer service portion of the website, I got no answer. The website says that they will try to contact you within 24 hours, and I've been waiting about three weeks to hear from them. They have no phone number. Meanwhile, the thirty days I have to exchange my item have expired.
If you do order from this company, please at least read the terms of use. There is a link at the bottom of the page. It's not something they have you agree to before you order, it's something they assume that you've read. They guarantee nothing, including no guarantee of correct item shipment, use of the carrier that the website originally tells you it will use, or even the price you think you are paying for the item.
Again, please consider your order: if there is the slightest chance that you'll need customer service. If your item arrives faulty or broken, you are instructed to contact the manufacturer, who will likely tell you that it's not their fault because you got it from a reseller. If you want to exchange or return the item, there is no hope because you have to get a return merchandise number from more4mymoney, and you'll never hear from them again.
Anyone who orders from this website is liable to have a very frustrating experience."
