"4 frames ordered - all came with issues. The major one was that the mat borders were all larger than specified, making the open area too small. Contacted customer service and explained this. After an 8 day delay I received an email saying my order was being redone. Great. I received that replacement and it was exactly the same as the first order, no change whatsoever to the mat borders. I did this 3 more times over the next 5 weeks, explaining each time that all that was needed were mats cut to the size ordered. Each time they responded after a long delay and sent a replacement that duplicated the original problem. I finally gave up. On the upside I now have enough frames to start a small shop."

"On November 25, I placed an order for a custom frame. On that date, I received an order confirmation and my credit card was charged. I have emailed their customer care center twice and received no response. Their customer call center number is disabled due to "high volume." Despite this, I receive emails and ads on my facebook feed offering free delivery by Christmas. I have no choice but to dispute this charge with my credit card."

every week I wrote asking for an update, told it was in production, finally almost a month later told the item was out of stock (how do you go from production to out of inventory)

"As an artist, I've used PictureFrames.com from many years; however, this year the when I ordered 5 new frames, 4 of them arrived with incorrectly mitered corners, crookedly cut plexi-glass, and black goo around the edges that got all over the place when I opened them. I tried contacting customer service to see what they would do and it's been weeks now without a response. Over all of the years of using them, I've only even had one other reason to contact customer service and the problem was resolved immediately. But this is not the case this time. I'd love to talk to customer service if they have time to get back to me. :-/ If they do not, this will sadly be my last order."

"I have placed an order on September 11. I did not receive any updates for 2 weeks and sent an email to support on September 25. I did not receive any response to my support email for a week, then requested cancellation and disputed the charge. My credit card company processed the dispute immediately, but I haven't heard anything from pictureframes almost a month now. They seem to be totally out of business, they can't process orders within a month and they won't reply to your emails for weeks long."
"Word of advice, do not use this Company. We sent an order 8/17 & followed up at the 6th week mark as the item is custom & this was the processing time. Sent 2 e-mails, made 2 phone calls with no response, Two weeks later, we tried again & finally got somebody on the phone who told us that the order did not process {although our card was debited & shows "processing" on their end} & never made it to the printer. That my recourse is to cancel the order & do it again. That they weren't made aware of it until we called.
The associate was not emphatic at all & basically that it is what it is , that they are short-staffed & there's no supervisor I can speak with. And that their software changed & has been having problems. It's almost 8 weeks now & we only learned about this when we called. Customer service {well, there really wasn't any service} was very unhelpful, indifferent to the situation, not solution oriented, poor communication with no skills in handling these situations. Extremely frustrating. Do not use them at all. "

We ordered a custom frame 7 days ago and never received any correspondence. They cashed my $151 and never provided anything!
When you call, you get a message they are all in a meeting. When you try to chat, there is no response. When you email, it's ignored.
We received an email stating that there is no account under my name and no orders placed! Yet, they cashed $151 from me. "
"If I could give zero stars I would. They are TERRIBLE!!!!!!!!! They will never let you know when anything is out of stock. They'll charge your card and the product could be backordered for months. They say made in the USA. Not at all. Most frames are made in Mexico and it says it right on there. That fact doesn't bother me in the least, the frames are beautiful. It's that they lie. What absolute liars these people are. THEY ARE TERRIBLE. I HAVE HAD SEVERAL HORRIBLE EXPERIENCES. BUYER BEWARE."
