"Hello all... ordered a corsa sport exhaust system for my c 5 corvette about a week or so ago...gave summit my correct business address for shipping.
I monitored tracking and was due on a Monday (by end of day)... package never showed... tracking stated "undeliverable address"... I called summit and supposedly straightened it out.
Next day... again !!! "undeliverable address".... called summit again!! change delivery address due to being closed for remainder of week... 3 days later packages arrive.... shipping was missing 1/2 of order.... Unbelievable!!! called summit again...total of about 5 calls and 2 hrs of my time...Days later I still have 1/2 my order and the rest.... who knows!!! summit reps cant even give me a tracking number.... I have never in my life dealt with a company like this... !!!
And I will never order from summit racing again...Hope this RANT gets out to a couple of you out there....

"Ordered arp bolts for a bbc on 6/29, bolts arrived on 6/30. The package had 10 bolts and 10 washers, only one washer was too small. Damn, weekend to put engine together lost. On 7/5 I called summit tell them the problem! On 7/7 late evening still no correct washer. One day delivery when you place original order, still not here in 3 days to make the order right. Now I know why your costumer service is rated 2 out of 5 stars. Managment should look at this too."
"My first attempts to order an air conditioning kit for my son's 1975 Corvette begin 3 weeks ago was Summit Racing the week after that I looked into an update and was told that the order never went through because they tried to verify it and I didn't respond I've been responded with a voicemail because they never picked up the number that they gave me told them that it was a valid order. I've been followed up with a phone call to learn that the order has not gone through and then make sure that it did go through. At that point I was told it would arrive in 3 to 5 business days and that it was shipping directly from the vendor Vintage Air which I will never do business with also. Today was 6 business days later I called to find out where the packages and now I'm told it's on A2 to 3 week backorder my son's Corvette is taking it apart in a mechanic shop probably going to need to pay storage fees until I get a replacement kit in the meantime he's leaving for Air Force to be without a car this is the worst example of customer service flat out lying to me after they take my money that I have ever experienced please get the word out don't ever ever ever do business with this lousy lying corrupt piece of s### excuse for a company!!!"
"Tried to order from another website, paid my money, got an email 30 minutes later stating my order was cancelled due to lack of stock. I won't mention any names (THM). 5 different items I ordered: Royal Purple Synthetic Motor Oil 5/30, Royal Purple Oil Filter, Gorilla Automotive Narrow Locking Lug Nut Set, Gorilla Valve Stems, OBD ll Scan Tool. Nothing out of the ordinary here, went to Summit Racing and not only did they have everything in stock, the prices were better and it was delivered to my office in 2 days. I was so satisfied with this organizations service that I placed a $303 order for tires that same day, Invoice 706023."

When I could not do the rebuild, I saw that they include a return shipping label. The front of the label does not talk about charging you for the return. So I used the return shipping label. I received a $20.22 refund to my card. When I complained, they told me the handling fee was not refundable and they charge $8.50 for using their label. The smarts on the phone stated that it is clearly explained on the label; and "why should they be out any money! I looked at the back of the label and found those charges written in letters 1/16" tall! As far as the company being out any money, they charge me $9.95 to pull a part! If they paid for the return shipping they would not be out any money! They don't care about customer satisfaction and both of the representatives I spoke with had a you're wasting my time attitude. I wish I could give zero stars!"
"I ordered an ATK Marine 4.3 engine for $2209 + $125 core and Free Shipping. No problems and engine was delivered freight on time. No issues. When I called Summit to arrange the core pickup, they told me I had to pay the return freight. Return freight on an engine core is more than the $125 core charge. What's the point, I asked the CSR. He said that's our policy. I complained enough that he credited me $75 of my core charge, which I appreciated. However, no where in there shipping information does it mention that the consumer is responsible for the core return shipping charges. What a great way to charge the consumer an extra $125 knowing the consumer won't pay the return shipping on the core. I will never buy another item from Summit Racing again."
"I ordered a 900$ kit from summit racing.was missing peices so i called they explained to me that i ordered the wrong kit.but i didnt ,i ordered the right kit they just had it labeled wrong on theyre site they refused to refund me the money for the missing part and didnt want to send me the missing part which they carry. Silly thing the kit from both are the same price. I finally said im done.had to contact the vendor who realized they were wrong and they sent me the correct part.steer clear of these guys they screw up its on u they told me theyre disclaimer will keep themfree from any errors they do. Thats theyre customer service ...garbage"
"Purchased a set of American Racing Wheels last March. One of the plastic covers on a center cap has started to peel off. Called Summit to-day to find out if they covered this problem or if I should call A/R. The gentleman said that Summit did not stock the caps. He put me on hold, called A/R and had them ship me the cap at no charge.
Excellent customer service, could not be happier with Summit service, return customer for sure.

"I did an order for my '74 fury for a total amount greater than $500 and also paid $50 extra for 1 day shipping. In a few hours I noticed that my order doesn't appear in my profile so I contacted summit support team, then they said me that there was a problem with my credit card billing information and due to that my order can't be shipped, I agree to update the billing address and accept the second day shipping. Next day I contacted again support team and they told me that the order wasn't shipped because the sales team must contacted me to confirm my new billing address!!!
In any time summit tried to contact me, so in conclusion, If i didn't do the summit's sales & support team maybe I still be waiting for my 1 day shipping"
"I have used Summit all the time while building my off road rig. Maybe its because I live in SC and they have a warehouse in GA, but I have received almost everything next day no matter what shipping option I choose. They are always so fast.
One time a part I ordered didnt work, so they sent me a new one day of. Their customer service and quality has always impressed me. "
"Fell for their "Next day shipping" gimmick. I ordered two 4.3 vortec long blocks. Little over $4000 dollars. Its been close to a week now and no shipping notice. I did contact via email and got an answer on Friday evening that they were ready to ship but didn't have a tracking number assigned yet. But would go out that evening and would be up to 4 days before I get them. Their ad says shipping same or next day. Free shipping and I should receive them in 1 to 2 days. My customers are so far being understanding, but that wont last long if its another week before I get them. My last dealings with this company. I could have drove up to MO. at ATK and picked them up myself if I had of known it was going to such a cluster ****. Thumbs down in all areas. BTW, the $4000 was taken out of my account that day I ordered them...so they got my money. I hope I get engines soon. "
