"I tried to return a few pieces that i bought for a crate engine that I had also bought through them (2200 dollars). I needed to send back a timing chain set that happened to be wrong. They were wrong because the engine description for the crate motor i had bought had steered me in the wrong direction due to inadequate information for the product they were selling. I asked for them pay for the shipping back due to inaccurate description, they said no, it was my choice to buy said product. I said it was off of their description. Mind you I have spent close to 5k with them on the crate motor and all the other parts needed for this build, yet they wont take the hit on 10 dollar shipping. I have never had an issue with any company being so stingy over 10 bucks. Well, that 10 bucks cost them future business and engine builds down the road and im half debating returning everything due to this encounter."
"Waiting on a part. It will be 10 days that I have to wait to get my part. This is not a part on back order either. I am super **** right now. They were no help at all at Summit. Part is coming from BMR, and was shipped but it will take another week to get it here for some reason from UPS. WTF????

"Approximately noon on Thursday I called customer service using a couple gift cards, ordered my shocks, promised maximum two day delivery. Received email at 11:30PM that it was just processed and then at 1:30Am UPS informing me that delivery will be on Monday by end of day, upsetting! I called customer service and a man answered with an attitude telling me I should’ve requested a two day and that it’s my fault even after I made it clear I was told that it would be two days latest but he was a major **** and very rude with a NewYork accent. "Ordered parts for my car and my card was approved they sent me to ‘verification’ where I was put on hold forever then they gave me hassle, wanted me to send front/back of my ID and front/back of my credit card via email. When I told them I didn’t feel comfortable they sent me to their supervisor.. he was more than rude, incinuated I was a lair and told me if I didn’t like their rules then to not order from there again then hung up on me. I will never recommend them to anyone and I hope no one will give them business. "

" I purchased a pair of pick up truck bed rails for my late in model year 2007 GMC pick up. I was very careful in the selection of fitment. (Purchased thru eBay) Upon arrival I discovered the stake holes were badly misaligned. I asked to return them owing to their mix up. They permitted a return. Their policy was to return them at my expense, eBay intervened and I was sent a prepaid shipper.
During this process, Summit sought to cancel the order, which happen, with this maneuver the customer could not provide any negative feed-back. That brings me to this forum

I just check these items and your site says if I order today they will ship on April 6 th

"I did a Search for a part number,I paid for part, invoicing shows item will ship next day, 12 days later ,no part , no email and project stalled. A couple of phone calls revealed that part is untraceable, no true communication between vendor and Summit, it may have shipped,it may not have but you will have to wait 3-5 days for PayPal refund. Everyone should make the call to the smaller service oriented outlets and pay the small difference . Parts were sent by Hoerr Racing Products in a timely fashion with 3 emails and a few dollars cheaper to boot. Sorry Summit but that will never happen again."
