Thieves

"They denied my transaction and then came back later and charged me over $200. Never told me they charged me. I was unable to use their service and they refused to refund my money. I never gave them permission to run my card multiple times. I ended up paying more to park somewhere else and then after the fact they charged me too. Very dishonest company. Do not give them your information. "

Another deserved 1-star review of way.com

"As I write this, way.com has 782 reviews on this site. Each and every review has rated them 1-star. The worst possible score. Well, I am giving them the same score due to yet another poor experience with way.com and their customer service team.

I purchased Denver International Airport parking through way.com. When I arrived at the lot they were having a technical difficulty. They could not scan my way.com QR code and ultimately said I needed to park elsewhere. They said I should contact way.com and they would issue a refund. It was really no problem.

EXCEPT... when I contacted way.com they did not respond. I contacted them multiple times to literally no response. I Tweeted them to no response. They finally got back to me 9 MONTHS LATER and asked for written documentation from the parking lot. Now while this might have been reasonable within 24 hours, or a week, of my contacting them, there was no way the parking lot was going to issue written proof 3/4 of a year after the incident. Ultimately, way.com customer support was unresponsive and rude in their handling of this matter. They lost a customer for life - and hopefully you, the reader of this review too - over $20.

Faulty App and Terrible Customer Service

"My reservation wasn’t visible in the app so I had to order again at the parking booth to make my flight. A couple days later, a customer service member emailed me about the double booking.
When I requested a refund, they would only reply that refunds cannot be provided after check in, despite them reaching out to me after the check in. I continued to provide receipts and time stamps and they continue to refuse to provide a refund, despite the glitches in the app. I've never experienced a company not refund a double booking, especially due to app failures.

Beware Way.com

"I used Way.com for several years and was satisfied, but that changed in 2023. I booked Seattle parking in September only to discover shuttle service not available. That was not made clear at time of reservation, and hotel confirmed that many people reserving are expecting shuttle, as we were. Then in Dec 2023 and Jan 2024 they started charging monthly for roadside insurance. I never authorized this and I don’t even live in US. Even the credit card institution said transactions were suspicious. I couldn’t delete credit card info from my Way account, so had to cancel credit card. I will not use this app again and hope to save others from being scammed as well. I would rate negative if I could."

"When you try to buy parking, You see, pay at the parking lot and pay now at Way.com. I am a customer of Expedia and other travel agencies. When I book a hotel or car rental, Paying online at the time of booking is cheaper than paying at the site. So.,
According to the information that they provided, I paid online. Then they asked me for more money at the parking site by the hotel.

They gave the wrong information on their website. I do not know why they said to pay now. If they mean pay now is for reservation, they must identify the Reservation fee.

I was not stupid to purchase uncovered, ungated parking in the hotel lot for this amount.

SCAM They sell parking at lots they don't have relationships with

"I prebooked 9 days of parking at a motel parking lot near Newark Airport a couple of months before a flight. The flight was early, so I arrived at the lot around 5am. The motel clerk told me they had no relationship with Way.com and that many other people had come there with Way.com reservations. He also told me there were no available spots. I had immediately called Way.com at the first inkling of trouble and left it on speaker while talking with the clerk. Then I pulled up SpotHero and booked a spot 20 minutes away for twice the price of my Way.com reservation. 30 minutes had gone by and no one picked up at Way.com. I left it on speaker while I drove to the new spot and then hung up. I tried to call them several more times but no one ever answered. Email response took something like 3 days and was not germane to the issue. They said I would have had to cancel before my reservation to get a refund - this has zero to do with the fact that they are illegally selling something they have no right to sell. I think a class action lawsuit is in order."

Shade company with 0 customer service

"Booked parking close to DFW at a comfort suites. The clerk refused to honor the reservation. I immediately had to find another location in fear of missing my flight. Buy the. We location did not offer shuttle service. I ended up paying twice as original due up the taxi cost.

Way app doesn’t have any contact info listed, had to search internet to find a number and customer service was non existent. Instead of helping me with a refund, she is asking me click on gas icon to share my location for gas deals. They refunded the original booking eventually and asked me to wait 10 days. But showed no concern that I ended up paying twice the cost due to taxis. Will never use them again.

Parking Voucher refused....NOWay.com

"I purchased 5 days of prepaid parking from Way.com. On my return day, June 18,2023, I arrived early and went to get my car. My Way.com voucher was not honored. After multiple calls to Way.com and an extended hold, I finally spoke to a live person. After an additional time on hold, they advised that because I was leaving the parking facility 25 mins early, my way.com voucher was being rejected. I was advised to pay the full parking facility prices and submit my receipt "for a refund." I did so and after several days of inaction, I checked my credit card online. Not only was there no refund, of either the original amount or the full facility amount I was forced to pay, I saw that Way.com had actually made duplicate charges to my card for the same facility and the same period!

When I filed a dispute with my credit card for the second charge, Way.com then advised that I would need to drop my dispute in order for them to reverse the charge. I called my credit card and withdrew the dispute so Way.com could proceed with the refund. I advised Way.com the day the dispute was dropped.

I then received follow up emails from Way.com advising that I still needed to drop the dispute and I advised them that I had already done so. Well, I have now received an email from Way.com saying I must provide to them PROOF that I dropped the dispute in order for them to proceed.

Never have I ever experienced this kind of run around from any service provider. I have disputed credit card charges in the past and they were resolved by the merchant directly with the card company. The merchant reverses the charge and the dispute is resolved. I have never had to cancel a dispute for it to be resolved.

I have now been charged $125 by Way.com for services it did not provide in addition to the charges I had to pay to the parking facility in order to get my car out...because I arrived 25 minutes early.

Way.com is an unreliable service provider with atrocious customer services that will give you the run around and not work to resolve any issues with the goods and services it may or may not provide.

I would caution against purchasing any goods or services from Way.com and if you choose to do so, buyer beware. Don't expect any kind of satisfactory customer service from this company.

Rate Issue

"Price is reasonable for indoor parking. Hardly found spot at 7th floor. Not a single person available onsite for any support. Must have app or printing barcode.
My issue: I was 2 hours late and I paid 7 dollars an hour for each while daily rate was only around 14 dollars with taxes. It seems they make lots of money due to flight and shuttle delays. This seems a complete rip off. Watch out for this issue, there wont be anyone to help you get the car out unless you pay.

Charged me $50 for an extra day

"We parked at the Philadelphia Sheraton for 13 days. Our flights got cancelled and we got back a day late. Our original bill was $10/day at $130. For the extra day Way charged me $50! I called the hotel who referred me to Way. I called Way and they told me there is nothing they can do because the reservation has already passed? Wtf kind of explanation is that? This has to be illegal."
