The reply said ok and then nothing. tried three more times and every time said theyd do it. Finally opened a paypal case. Customer service line appears to be fake. It just permanently leaves you on hold. "

"I purchased 2 Anderson screens online for approximately $500 at windowparts.com.
I selected the wrong size.
The screens were drop shipped from Anderson directly.
When I inquired about returning them they didn't seem to care to help.
They said to return them with a copy of the packing slip to Anderson directly. and they will credit us back less the 20% restocking fee. There was no packing slip but I had the tracking numbers.
I was OK with the 20% as it was my fault. However, after researching how much to ship them back it ranged from $400-$450!!!!!!
They are awkward in size, but only 20lbs each.
I would end up spending more than their value to return them, with any hope of getting the credit. ...I called Anderson, they said they can't cross reference the tracking numbers to the windowparts order number and there was NO packing slip. I can't see how they could even credit me for returning them
Certainly, their shipping costs are much less, and it would be advantageous for they to issue a return ticket. But they refuse to do so.
Buyers beware, your door window or screen parts are a one way shipment if there is any mistake, it is your loss.
I would not have done any business with them if I knew of their lack of morals/principles.

"I ordered two screen doors in April 2020. Per the website they were in stock. At the end of May I contacted customer support to check on the order. It took ELEVEN days for them to respond. I was told the screens were on backorder, but would be in stock the next week, which I was fine with. It is now July 7th and no order! It's been so long that I actually forgot that I even made this purchase, probably what Window Parts was hoping for."

"I ordered two identical parts - one for each storm door - and found that the image shown reflected a different strike plate than the one that I actually received. I tried calling numerous times over several days, and after 29 minutes on hold one time, I left a voicemail, which was unreturned. My only recourse since this business won't stand behind its products or new customers was to either sell what I bought, or drill additional holes and unnecessarily complicate what should've been a straightforward installation (or two in my case). The products themselves seem fine, despite being inaccurately portrayed online; but it was the horrific customer service that inspired this review, and inspired me, likewise, to avoid this business for all future projects.
