"Zzounds is the worst place to purchase DJ equipment from! I had a hardship with my job due to the pandemic and one of my equipments that I purchased from them had went into collections. I had spoken with them about making a payment in the future to resolve the payment but when i woke up today i noticed a very large amount taking out of my bank account from them that i did not authorize! When i called them they told me that they did not need to have my permission to take out any payment and that they would not be refunding the money back in my account! "

"I’ve been a customer for years. All these bad reviews are from dishonest people. They DO send an email saying if your item is back ordered. They DONT charge you until your item is shipped. They DO put an authorization on your card when you order , but if it doesn’t ship, they DONT accept the charge and it falls off your card in a few days. Their finance team is different from customer service and people here are lumping them in the same group. Free two day shipping, yes. People also conveniently forget there’s a pandemic and fed ex is affected. Half these neg reviews need to be deleted. They’re from dishonest people who take 0 responsibility for their ignorance. They do need credit approval for anything 8 monthly payments and up if you have 0 order history from them. After you place several orders and pay off your items ON TIME and IN FULL they will let you chose more payment options without a credit check! You’re all liars on here. It’s pathetic. Be honest and own up to the fact that you didn’t read anything. I’ve had a damaged order from them before delivered via fed ex. Box was crushed. Got on the chat with customer service, told them, sent a picture, they sent me another orange amp the next day. I just had to ship the other amp back first. A SMALL inconvenience. You guys really think they’ll ship another item without first getting the first one back!! Really? How DARE Zzsounds make sure people aren’t trying to scam them with getting two items for the price of one..... My kid spent the entire day waiting for the guitar. We could have bought it for less elsewhere. The only reason we bought from zzounds was the 2-day shipping. Disappointing. "I purchased a Guitar on Backorder, after a month and half of waiting with no update I canceled. Upon asking when I will get a refund for my partial payment they said they had no record of it and I was never charged , I have a bank statement saying otherwise. (which I will dispute).

"They have a ton of bad reviews but my experience was perfect. My credit was destroyed during China-virus. ZZounds approved my $800 purchase with 8 payments of $109 (Taxes and small fee included) and delivered flawlessly the next day. I will recommend them to anyone with needs of what they offer. "
"When you're rated this low then you should obviously expect bad customer service and the lack of ownership to their mistakes. "I ordered a guitar and case on Thursday, Friday I was asked to send a video of me making a circle with my nose and a copy of my i.d., I did that. I called in Sunday to inquire, was told all was good and would ship on Monday, on Tuesday I was asked to send another ridiculous video and copy of my i.d., I refused and cancelled. "Ordered a Korg Monologue on Thursday with 1-2 day shipping . It arrived on Monday . After receiving and opening the package , there seemed to be damage to the synthesizer's box , it happens . The unit looked new BUT after turning it on , I learned that 2 of the keys were dead and unresponsive . Will have to wait 3 DAYS just to hear from the " return team ". Another 3 days for the unit to be returned backed to Zzounds and another 3 or so days to get a new unit .
Seems like this is a common thing with Zzounds - I prefer AMS or Sweetwater . Don't waste your time ."
