"I've been a customer of AVA Direct on two separate occasions, and the experiences during both as well as the resulting product have been extremely satisfying. The service at AVA is professional, courteous, and timely. While I did encounter troubles on both orders, as things sometimes go, they did their utmost to make sure I was satisfied. In the former case my order was encountering a delay, as the GPU I selected kept failing under stress tests to the point that they actually ran out of them and had to place an order for more. They offered a recommendation for a similarly performing GPU in stock at a slightly higher price if I did not want my order delayed, and as a gesture of good will to make sure I was satisfied they even offered to include free games with the order.
The latter case of trouble was getting a secondary shipping address confirmed for gift to a friend, and they were as timely and courteous as always in getting me on the phone to work this out. After a three way call and a bit of a headache it turned out I wasn't able to add the address, but AVA saved me the trouble and further headaches and accepted the address anyway.
While it might take longer to get the end product, ultimately you're better off for it. What's delivered is a tested, carefully assembled and neatly organized system that you can count on, that's further back up by warranty. While it is true you can sometimes find a better price for a part that they sell, just as often you can find them selling for less. In the end, you don't have to pay extra for a warranty, and the risk of getting a part that fails on you one month in from a traditional retailer is removed. This is what keeps me coming back to AVA, a reliable and organized build that's competitively priced."

"I got the 1K$ gaming PC as suggested by G4's Attack of the Show. It is a monster machine in terms of power, performance, size, and looks. My wife just recently had a custom powerhouse built by AVA as well. She was jealous. This is not a fast, high volume high turnaround company. It feels like a small custom specialty shop that cares about the products. It takes time to do what they do."

"I am 68 years old and not a computer expert. I bought this computer for home/office applications. I decided to try AVA because I did not like the systems being offered by Dell, H-P, etc. These retail systems were loaded with bloatware, features I do not need, and non-branded hardware. AVA's website and Joe helped me design a computer that is perfect for my needs plus I learned a lot during the process of building my computer. The proces was very easy. "First, I should mention that I am a 40 year old who has owned a computer since the days of the Vic 20. I have ordered computers from 5 different companies, as well as built my own systems. AVADirect was, without exception, the best buying experience that I have had. Their website allows for tremendous choice in components, and their sales representatives are knowledgeable and helpful. My order took less than half the time to be delivered compared to the other vendors I've ordered from. It was safely packed for shipment inside double boxes. The build and custom wiring were expertly designed and implemented, and the inside of the machine looks clean, and has loads of room for easy expansion and all-important air flow. AVADirect took the time to make sure my rig was right before they shipped it. I received a checklist that detailed the different tests and benchmarks they performed. All drivers and firmware were updated, and the system had absolutely no bloatware installed. I have been running the machine through various stress tests and doing some pretty heavy gaming with it for 2 months now and I have yet to find anything I would even call an issue. If you are looking for a properly constructed computer and want a large choice of parts and superlative customer service, then AVADirect should be your go-to builder. I know my family and friends will be using them for their next computers, and so will I.

"Everything I ordered from AVA Direct was great! I bought a silent gaming pc, and it is exactly that. It kills games on high-ultra graphics and is still almost completely silent. The product options are great and the system is very well put together.
My only complaint with the whole process is with the shipping. It shipped with fedex, which is fine, but because a direct signature is required, I would have preferred if the shipping was set up as an appointment home delivery, so that I could ensure I'd be home to receive the computer. It worked out fine, but was not ideal.
Other than that minor, rather insignificant glitch, everything was perfect."

"Great system! Ordering on the web was was easy and the offered selection was outstanding. They ask about your configuration desires prior to assembly, deconflict any poor performing aspects and then produce a phenomenal system! The assembly was second to none - all cables were secure and routed perfectly through the case and the components are high quality.This is a great company - not a budget computer factory like some of the others on the web. Customer service is responsive and professional and their product is great. My system had no issues and runs as I expected. I'll order from them again without hesitation!"

"AVADirect is absolutely GREAT! This was my first custom computer build so prior to ordering my computer I researched lots of companies and lots of different computer components. AVADirect had very good reviews, especially in the past 12 months. Some of the other companies I researched didn't compare near as well with the review sites, customer reviews and with the better business bureau. I chose AVADirect on the basis of reviews, price, flexibility and communications prior to ordering my system. The price for my system was about 80% less than most of the other computer builders, and, I priced out most of them. The price was also within about 5% of me ordering the parts and building it myself. I also avoided the hassle of a build and added the benefit of a 3 yr parts and labor warranty. I ordered a fairly high end system (I7-3930K, GTX 570 GPU, 128 GB SSD.... etc). Two days after I ordered a problem was reported with the CPU. ADADirect CONTACTED ME to let me know of the chip problem and offered me the option of continuing my build with the current chip release or to put my build on hold until the updated CPU was released. I chose to wait for the updated CPU. While I was waiting, 6 weeks (NO FAULT OF AVADIRECT), a problem was discovered with the SSD I chose. I contacted AVADirect and they assured me they would update the firmware for my drive prior to shipping my computer. Even before the updated CPU started showing up in blogs around the internet AVADirect contacted me to inform me they got an early release of the new chip and my build was underway and should be arriving in a few days. My system arrived 2/4/2012. I Still don't think the new release of the CPU is available on newegg or amazon. When my computer arrived it was packed very securely, inside and out. All the documentation and disks for all of my components were included. I unpacked my computer, plugged it in, and have been running it continuously for about 3 days. I also received a credit for my order because I ordered extra fans that couldn't be used in the build. AVADirect issued me the credit without my knowledge that the fans weren't used. Very Nice!!! Every communication I sent to AVADirect (about 15 of them) was responded to within 1 or 2 hours (when during business hours) or immediately the next morning if during the weekend or later in the evening. All the responses addressed my concerns or questions directly. I couldn't be more happy with my decision to buy my computer from AVADirect. The entire process was handled fast, professionally, and at a price I couldn't find elsewhere. I highly recommend AVADirect for your next computer build.
