"AVA assembled the computer I wanted to my specification, tested it and shipped it in a reasonable time at a fair price. They are located in the United States and are staffed by knowledgeable folks who answer questions in a language I can understand - American English. What's not to like? This was my second order with them and I will be back the next time I need another system."

"The overall experience was stellar and it helped make my job as an IT Director much easier knowing that I had a dedicated and committed system builder who had my best interests in mind. "If you need a DAW station this is the place to go. I was in the process of doing an upgrade to my recording studio and needed a new DAW computer. I resisted the urge to go to a MAC and I glad I did. Sales Rep Joe Mundy did an excellent job assisting me on my final requirements for the build, he understood the software requirements used in a DAW which help in choosing the right components. The build quality was excellent,the internal wiring is professionally bundled and out of the way. The care and packaging was great, double boxed and stuffed with shipping peanuts and all the internal computer components where secured. I have not had to use Technical Support as I have not needed them. The DAW ran great right out of the box. Pricing was outstanding. I priced the parts at Newegg and Tigerdirect and I could not build it myself cheaper. I have/will recommended AVAdirect to my friends. I will definitely use them for any other computers I may need in the future.

"I've always wanted to 'build' my own pc and have someone else test it for compatibility. I've put together enough pc's to remember I didn't want to deal with all of the hoops that tend to pop up while in the middle of putting a system together. AVADirect's site allowed me to do just that and it was the easiest to use - I tried a few others! Great selection, prices and service. It is rare for me to buy something online and NOT have a problem. I will certainly recommend them and use them for any future pc's I decide to buy."

"AVADirect: Solid computers supported by solid and friendly customer service. I will *never* again buy a computer or computer parts from a brand-name computer supplier like dell, hp, etc. I had what turned out to be a driver issue that was giving me the dreaded BSOD. A quick message to AVADirect and we figured out a nice workaround. I really can't praise AVADirect's customer service enough. In addition to being friendly and efficient, their customer service has superb follow-through. They are truly in a league of their own and make the the customer service of the brand name companies look like a joke. Give them a try! You'll thank me! (And so will your checking account!)"

"I ordered a computer from them and it works just fine. They did a good job of building it. However, when I ordered additional ram for the computer, they sent me the correct ram but, wrong profile. They gave me an RMA number and I waited over a week-nothing showed up on my credit card account. So, I called and was told that the account would be credited within 48 hours. That never happened. Later on, I called again and was told that "accounting will call me as soon as the get into work." It was 3 PM and no call from accounting yet-they keep late hours? . I took action via the credit company and results were quick and forthcoming. Nevertheless, I would recommend them, if you want a good computer at a good price."

"Have recently bought a Clevo P151HM Core i7 Notebook with the following specs:
INTEL, Core™ i7-2720QM Quad-Core 2.2GHz
CRUCIAL, 128GB RealSSD™ C300 SSD
NVIDIA® GeForce® GTX 460M
This system is outstanding and is an impressive 2.7-fold faster in parallelized floating point calculations than my 2-year old Intel Dual Core T9600 laptop.
It is very surprising that this system matches or outperforms about 4-5 year old dual Xeon X5450 servers in real life floating point computations.
Service, speed and quality of response from AVADorect were very impressive.
Shipment and installation qualification and laptop burn in was equally excellent."

"Great site and glad I found it. Easy to use and easy to order from. I found what I was looking for, but unfortunately for me, they weren't what I thought they would be and don't work for my application. The price was ok, but I thought the shipping, $15.49, was way too much for two such tiny little bags, that could have been put in an envelope and mailed for probably one or two stamps.
Otherwise, I wouldn't have minded too much in taking the loss. Not worth trying to get a refund for my mistake.
I'll definitley be checking your site out some more anyway.

"I was wary at first but wanted a quality PC, not something with cheap Foxxconn garbage. I also wanted to support a smaller company operating here in America.
The staff was courteous and fast to respond to concerns. The parts selection and true customization was very refreshing in the world of "canned computers".
What I recieved was truly a work of art. Now my own good taste had alot to do, but the great wiring job has alot to do with this statement.
I recieved all the manuals, the disks and even the spare parts and grates left over from my case. They don't have a TON of bloatware, your get only what you want.
In particular I commend the wiring. My case is notorious for being a pain with wires. They also ship FedEx, who is generally faster than UPS."

"I am very impressed with the parts available. I was looking for a bracket for a processor fan that is not currently made anymore, and AVADirect had it! One thing that disappoints me is the shipping. I paid $15 for shipping a $1 part, and it was shipped USPS. I was under the impression that it would be sent UPS or FEDEX, who are usually much faster, and as I do a lot of shipping for my job, I know (approximately) what shipping rates are. Now I haven't received the bracket yet, but will update this when it comes in. I just feel the shipping price is inflated, especially considering the fact that it was shipped through US mail. I am otherwise satisfied so far with AVADirect, but will probably have to pay more for them in the future to expedite the shipping to make sure this doesn't happen in the future."

"I've built several PCs from scratch and I was always leery about ordering a custom-built unit online, but when it was time to put together a home theatre PC I wanted to make sure it was extremely quiet and I wanted a professional to handle it.
I am so glad I chose AVA Direct. From the beginning they were professionals, they helped me pick the right components over the phone, they built and shipped it in a timely manner, and everything worked perfectly right out of the box.
About two years after purchase, the PC stopped powering on. I called AVA and they provided me instructions on how to RMA the unit. Other than having to pay over $100 to ship it back to them, they fixed and tested the unit in a reasonable amount of time. When I got the computer back, I was getting a "CPU fan error" but they helped me fix it over e-mail (turns out when they do a repair, they pack some styrofoam inside the case with the components to make sure nothing gets jostled or broken in transit).
I would definitely recommend AVA Direct and the next time I build another HTPC, I am going to use them again!"
