"I bought an electric latch actuator for the rear lift gate of a Ford Escape. Easy to find the part that matched exactly from Autotoys site. The part is not available from Ford or any parts brick and mortar stores that I checked. I was suprised by how quickly I received my order using standard shipping. Turn around time for order processing and delivery was only 2 days!"

"BUYING FROM AUTOTOYS IS LIKE PLAYING RUSSIAN ROULETTE. 1/6th of the time they will screw you over.
On June 26th (one month ago) I ordered an AUXILIARY INTERFACE, and SIMPLE IS75 IPOD AUX ADAPTER TO RCA for my Ford Mustang. I paid through paypal and was very exited to install this in my car, I ordered from AutoToys because I read positive reviews about fast shipping. BUYER BEWARE. I waited till July 2nd to email them in regards to the status of my order... they responded with:
"The FRD04 is on backorder for about 20 days."
They gave me no apology nor an offer for a refund!
I was a little upset because in no way did they try to contact me to tell me then when I placed the order. Again I wait 22 days, (it is now July 24) when I call them inquiring about the status of my order. I call them several times throughout the day but nobody returns my messages.
This morning (July 26th) I receive an email from paypal saying that my funds have been refunded...
I am very confused as to HOW a company like this could be in business for 18 years. If you are going to order from them to save $2 dollars like I did after shopping around. I highly recommend reconsidering and buying from somewhere else!!!
TERRIBLE costumer service! BUYER BEWARE.
And get this! I email them today threatening to leave a bad review and they claim that my payment wasn't accepted and I never had an order with them! This is complete bull, paypal confirmed my order via email. And have been using paypal for several years. And the fact that they initially told me of the back-order proves they are lying.
Also, they may try to respond to this saying "oh but we contacted him" or "he never paid"... DO not believe them, I have never had this bad of an experience shopping online in my life.
They just sent me another email saying that my Paypal address was "not confirmed". I logged into paypal, and sure enough it is "CONFIRMED". I will never do business with AUTOTOYS again, they are a bunch of liars!"

"Serivce is the worse I've ever seen. I placed the order on 14 July and they never shipped it until the 21st. I contacted them on the 18th and they said it had been shipped and in transit, but refused to give me the tracking number. They are liars. Don't buy anything from them"

"Autotoys' email replies are wonderfully prompt and personal. There was 1 problem with my order: my first email to Autotoys asked specifically what I need for the make and model of my car. Clearly, the person who responded to my email didn't do their homework and told me I needed 4 radio removal keys. My car does not have such slots; the dash needs to be disassembled. I discovered this only after my order arrived. It would have been great if the person had done a little research rather than taking a best guess. They responded promptly to my complaint and refunded the money. When I needed to exchange the harness connector, every email reply came within minutes and my new connector was shipped priority the next day. Great service except for one "lazy" moment at the beginning!"
