"Wow... Where to start about an experience so bad. First, their prices on shipping are pretty bad. I'm convinced they sell the product at cost, and then add in the shipping prices for their profit. $30 to overnight a 120GB hard drive. Now, when I received it, I was happy. Went home, installed it, and got buzzing noises. Removed it, called for an RMA, got them to cross-ship it. And they charged me $4 for the actual shipping costs. For a replacement of a defective product. And the ONLY option was to do a cross shipment (where they had to charge my credit card), since they were going to be closed for a week. In the middle of April. It then took two phone calls to get my refund back to me of the amount that I had been charged after they received my DOA hard drive. Finally, during the whole process they inadvertently refunded me $129 twice. They notified me both times (thank you). But then, when they charged me again (as they should have) they did NOT notify me that this had been done. Combine that with other reviews I've read of them here, and I've felt the need to cancel my credit card due to this company. I would not buy from this company again."

"Not a big fan of Compu-U-Plus...they got me my order at a good price, but after having the wrong item shipped the first time, rude customer service trying to get things straightened out, and an unbelievable 4 weeks trying to get everything straight, their low prices really aren't worth the hassle. Packing was very poor. No peanuts to insulate against shock (a touch important when shipping a hard drive based mp3 player, I'd say). A company whose representative says "I'm sorry, I thought I was talking to a brick wall" when I ask for clarification on a policy is not worth my time or money."

"I ordered online and gave all the necessary information, including credit card #. My order was confirmed, But in the confirmation email it stated that CompuPlus was in effect closing it's offices until 4/24/2003. It was also stated that the item ordered would not be shipped until 4/25/2003. I think it would have been good business practice to inform the customer prior to ordering when such a huge delay in shipping is going to occur. Bill Moore"

"Ordered 4-8-03 A.M. Credit card charged same day. Was assured items would ship 4-8 or 4-9 for sure. Paid 2nd day premium (approx. $10.00) as ground delivery not available for these items (Ethernet switch and 3 NIC Cards 6 lbs.). Customer service claims shipment will go out today. Not holding my breath. What happened to all that snappy service I read about in the reviews?"

"Good company to deal with. Ordered a D-Link DWL520+ and a Logitech MX700. I had previously ordered a D-Link DWL-900AP+ and another DWL 520+. Excelent response from the site. Quick shipping. Good prices. I would order again. This made a good cost effective solution to getting both of my kids desktops to share my connection and allowing me to use my laptop anywhere in my house. I would order from them again."

"Ordered 3 WRT54G's. 2 failed out of box and were confirmed by Linksys. Contacted Compuplus and and they said we had 7 days to get them returned. So we had to pay $33 to get them shipped to us, then another $18 to get them back within their time frame. Once they were in, the cables mysteriously disappeard and we had to buy 2 more cables at our expense and overnite those. Then it took 3 weeks for them to credit back bad units to our CC This is the absolute worst type of online seller. Profit is made on shipping and lies about product returns. slow to credit BUYER BEWARE !"
