epson updates firmware or can not use printer there for third party ink cartriges work for only a sheet or two
"Would like to use the third party ink, lower price. Epson is mandating the firmware be updated or printer will not work. therefore the third party ink cartridges are not recognized. A lot of wasted time waiting for the replacement cartridge that will be unrecognized shortly by the printer."

"I've been ordering my ink for my HP printer for years and have been very satisfied with the products and prices. I appreciate the coupons and discounts. I'm happy to say I don't do a lot of printing, but the OEM ink is just way overpriced. I will never buy original ink again."
