"After hearing of 2 house fires this week, I realized my smoke detectors were 20+ years old. I did a search for best smoke detectors and First Alert was always at the top. I wanted duel detectors and found the best price at the source. With free shipping and a December 10% discount, this price couldn't be beat. Anxiously waiting on delivery so I can toss my old smoke detectors. With cold weather coming in and Christmas decorations up, I need to be proactive. Extra seconds can save a life .... my life."

Model comparison tabs would be helpful

"I may have overlooked a comparison window, but with so many models to choose from, it may be helpful, it can be a bit overwhelming. I also noticed that when you enter a command to refine your search, you often still get items that should be filtered out, like hardwired or battery operated. Otherwise, great site."

When failure is not an option

"I’m a fire inspector. If people would just go to this site and order these devices, they could make inspections go smoothly. These are what I would like to see more frequently. Ordering is easy and the product is good. Pricing seems good too. Who can put a value on safety though?"
