"I definitely won’t be ordering anything from this company again, I ordered 2 (IN STOCK) fishing poles over a week ago and they still have yet to ship the order. They try to say its delays due to Covid, if its in stock then what is the delay? Shouldn’t take more than a day or 2 to pack and ship any in stock item. Customer service won’t tell you what standard order processing time is much less what the “Covid delay” adds on. Nothing more than an excuse to cover for the incompetence of the workers apparently from the bottom all the way to the top."
waited 90 minutes to cancel a backordered item. THE WORST!!
"I was on hold for over 90 minutes.. an hour and a half. It was to cancel an order that I had paid for only to find out later the item was backordered until heavens knows when. This has to be the worst experience I have had. Covid is NOT an excuse. YOu are terrible and you know it."

So I order something I get half the order and one item was somehow lost and the second was back ordered for over a month.Have reached out reps who have said they could help but haven’t got anything. "Every bad thing you hear about this place is true. The building is sketchy in appearance. The lot is a gravel, muddy mess, the sales manager is a typical conman and the finance man tries the bait and switch. The only positive was the salesman, Dino, who was honest and straightforward. The only negative with the salesman, once the deal crumbled....he would not return communications. An entire day of my life wasted due to poor leadership.
I was warned about Gander Mountain, but drove up to give the benefit of doubt. Please know...this was not a credit issue or any other reason that can be blamed on the customer. This is 100% the fault of the sales manger and finance manager."
"They sent the wrong item, said they'd ship the correct item and when I received the correct item to send back the incorrect item. Then they email saying original item is out of stock. Two weeks later they send me an email telling me I didn't do right by them because I didn't return their incorrect item. Canceled back order and then they refunded my account, but return 2 dollars less. I'm out two bucks, but learned it was a two dollar lesson to avoid this company. Oh they did say I could keep the girl's stocking hat for my trouble. Nope, I'm sending it back because I wouldn't even give something from this company away. Avoid them unless you like to be frustrated by incompetent service."
"Pull up and some guy comes out and says they are closed due to inventory. We drove from the cities to get some last presents for Christmas. Who closes for inventory at this time? We asked for how long they would be closed, and the guy says don't know."
"First they told us one thing we did it the next thing we had to pay $2000.00 more. Would have told them to screw it, but then we already had hard inquiries on credit. They forgot to hook brakes up on camper and had to go back. Did not give us item advertised free told them and they blew us off and didn't even give it to us. Sales lady was nice,she went above and beyond to help us. the finance people have dont give a crap attitude and maintenance doing brakes ****. Awful experience at gander, but camper is very nice. Did get an apology from maintenance department, but finance just had a poor attitude. Never got apology from them for telling us to pay off a bill and we could get loan for camper then go back and they said no they needed $2000. 00 down instead. And conveniently the man who messed up was off the day we went in to finalize everything. So he didn't have to see us and listen to us complain about his mess up."

"My kids gave me a CarHartt Rough Cut Jacket they purchased at your store for Christmas. Unfortunately they miscalculated my girth and a large was a little snug. We went to your Greensboro store to exchange and you had no XL's in stock. A very nice employee named Lisa offered to get online to see if there was one available at another store. There was one she gave me credit for the jacket I had with a gift card. I then paid for the XL jacket she found online with the store credit gift card for the jacket I was returning. two days later I received a email stating that my XL jacket was on the way. The XL jacket fits so much better. I have not had a lighter weight jacket for many years. This jacket is perfect for our warmer winter days in North Carolina.

"Well do I start I owed 1 last payment I paid $58.00 but I got a late fee so I just got off the phone with customer service she told me she couldn't help because account is close they can't wave fee. So I asked if she can tell her supervisor within seconds she came back said she told me no! So I asked to speak with them so a account supervisor Candice told me no because the same answer gander mountain was close so rusty can't help!
Since they closed I've always got late fees"
"After purchasing generator online pay more than $1,100 where it says [in stock] week 2 later call them find out that it was on backorder and week3 to call back find out that they have them in stock they will ship out soon as possible.. week 3 when I call and they have no idea where the units are and they have in back order again!!!
This company is SCAM!!"
