"I searched on Amazon.com for a 10 ft; replacement dryer cord for my Samsung Dryer. This is the result I was given: 1 of Replacement Cord Cable for Samsung - 9.5 Cu. Ft. 15-Cycle Steam Electric Dryer (DV56H9100EG) [ASIN: B00XJ6POMG] - sold by Huetron.
I ordered it immediately, as my dryer was being delivered in 5 days. When I received the cord, it was 4ft, this means I did not have a cord when the dyer was delivered, so I will have to pay to have someone come back out to install it.
I contacted Amazon immediately, and they were wonderful. After looking at the advertisement on the Amazon website, she agreed that I should have received a 9.5ft; cord. She explained that the company, Huetron, was a re-seller, and Amazon would reach out to them on my behalf. I heard back from Huetron a couple of days later, and all they said was that their description stated that it was a 4ft; cord; they sent me a link which did not work. I immediately emailed them back telling them that the link did not work. I also cut and pasted a copy of their description from Amazon. They did not respond, and I contacted Amazon again today. Again the representative could understand the issue. We did scroll down to the product description, and saw that it was a 4ft cord, but that is not the main description of the item. Amazon reached out to Huetron again, and they responded to me stating that I could return the item, but would be subject to a $2 restocking fee (that would be on top of the shipping charges)!! I am furious and disgusted that Amazon would do business with this kind of shady re-seller."
