Elite seals are prestigious banners given to retailers who are loved by their customers. To get one, a retailer has to consistently get high scores over time
"After receiving payment jegs messaged me “ I need it to call their customer service “ where I sat on hold for a half hour , and after refusing to give their customer service agent personal information they cancelled my order . I'm happy to go elsewhere except the funds have not been put back in my account ."
Ordered parts in July 2019 and now theywill not be available until January 2020.
"I have called about my internet order multiple times. Ship date continues to move back further and further. At least my debit card has not been charged as these items are not drop shipped from vendor. I have called multiple times about the status of the order and I have received a different story each time. Sometimes the product is on a truck on the way to Ohio, or it is ina trailer to be unloaded and now the vendor actually says that most of the order is in pre-production."

I tried to place an order with them yesterday. My order was declined due to the card being used was new and its’ details being input incorrectly by me - Thank God!!
Overnight, my card was processed, over 4 times - By JEGS! It was done so for varied amounts that had nothing to with my original (amount) order. After multiple hours of back and forth e-mails this morning, I was informed that my account had been, "closed due to my fraudulent charges"!?! These "fraudulent charges" originated from "JEGS" servers! I have my banks system screenshots to corroborate this!
My information was stolen from me and used by them in attempt to put through phony "JEGS" purchases. They obviously have a very severe lack of security protocol, yet will refuse to admit their responsibility and instead, blame it on the customer.
On another issue, I found that their "My Account" page arranges an individual's account based on the address. Strange because most companies do so based upon e-mail address and/or log in. If you live in a gated community, apartment complex or use a freight forwarder, all of you order history and Info. will be available for your neighbor to see in, "your account"!?!

"In Sep 2018 unauthorized charges of 349 dollars were made by this company and my mom's card was charged and when i call them and ask to refund the money they refused to do so.I asked them where did you send the email at the time purchase was made and at the time of shipping .Customer service rep gave me the email address that is not associated with paypal address and she said may be your mom's account was hacked but still we can not give her refund."
Ordered a generator with free shipping, got screwed
"Ordered a generator with free shipping, they sent it out Fedex. Fedex left it outside mi business when it was closed. someone took the generator. Jegs told me no signature was requested so I am out of luck. Only problem is this was free shipping, I wasnt asked anything about wanting a signature etc..... how is this on me? Signature request are up to the shipper. come on Jegs is this your First day? It was my First order, and my last............."
I called 4 times for a distributor hold down every Friday the manufacturer was drop shipping it
"First the tech ordered the wrong headers , sent me a dipstick tube , dipstick , for my 304 , then he sends small block Chevy heads for an order for a 304 , cool I sent it back , two weeks later I still haven't received them , I finally got an email about the distributor hold down , it hadn't been dropped shipped , turns out they can't even get Them , I've called them 4 times and got in contact with them for times , it's rediculous how they do business , I'm sticking to summit from here on out"
One of the worst online purchase experiences, company is disorganized and all over the place.
"I ordered some rotors, brake pads, and calipers from this company back at the beginning of October. Upon placing the order I was told that some items were backordered and that they would ship within the next week.
When that day came, I received another email stating that the items were still backordered. They kept pushing the date back after this, so I ended up calling them. They unapologetically told me that they didn't have a shipping date as the "container hasn't left overseas", so I asked them to cancel the order.
I never got the refund for the order (nor any confirmation emails), so I called back asking for updates. The rep told me that it was already canceled and that I should receive the refund the next business day if I haven't already.
Low and behold, I was shipped a part of the order that next week. I called again asking why I received this package, and they told me it wasn't their fault (it was the manufacturer who shipped it to me). I demanded that they send a pick up the order as I couldn't lug around a (destroyed) box full of rotors and brakes. They told me that FedEx would pick it up the next day,
I waited around that entire day, and nobody came. So I called yet again asking why no one was there. She ended telling me that the order was not canceled, only converted to a different order... WHAT?!
She told me that she would actually cancel the order and I would get a real confirmation.
I FINALLY received the refund credit for everything except the shipment that they sent me, which I had to call them another time to get a re-pickup attempt.
This whole process was like pulling teeth, and never once during the plethora of calls did they ever apologize or seem sympathetic for wasting a large portion of my time. They just relayed the information in a matter-of-fact tone and asked if there was anything else I had questions about.
Do yourself a favor and AVOID THIS RETAILER AT ALL COSTS!! The headache and lack of organization in this company is not worth whatever else that they promise you."
"Bought a hood for my 69 mustang, took a month to get and once it came in it was completely destroyed. Jegs refused to refund my $500. Stay away from these con artists they are a joke."
