Orders not coming when given a delivery date
"I had two different orders and after three weeks I called regarding the first order. The customer service man said expected delivery was through Fed Ex for next day. My second order would be delivered August 6 by postman. I finally got my first order after two days. August 6th came no order. Now they saying delivery is August 13th. Really!!!!!"

VERY SHADY W/ UR CARD!!
"I ordered from them a couple of months ago the product came and it had marks on it actually look like it was used. I had no problem returning it although "THEY" took pleasure in signing me up in their perks "THING" I'm not even sure what it is. I did find out after the fact. but I was not happy about it. they should not do this.... EVER!!! But they will And they DO! then I noticed again another charge on my account which was (they claim to be "tax") They said that their system was down the day I ordered the pillow so they did not add tax on my order at the time.. So they went back and added it the next day... I don't like companies that do things like this. Be WARNED.. keep checking your bill because these random charges just keep popping up. When confronted with It they will give you every excuse under the sun why it happened, there's just Noooo EXCUSE it should NOT be done. once I am finished with my order and it is completed, IT IS DONE, OVER, BYE! LEARN what the word means "completed" you don't have the right to go back in and add ANYTHING ONTO MY CREDIT CARD.....
I don't care if it's Missed tax or not. YOU DON'T DO IT!!!!!! Duh!"

"Be wary of this company
I bought a body pillow from Lakeside a week or so ago. When I ordered the pillow I ended up automatically signed up for a monthly reoccurring rewards program they offer. I had to spend a half an hour on the phone canceling the unwanted service. If I had not read the small print, I would have never known the charge for the unwanted service was coming. I then tried to cancel the order because I don’t like dealing with companies that are less then reputable. When I called the customer service line they told me they couldn’t help me. I had to call back later because I was canceling the order too soon. I asked if they could just cancel it for me instead of having to call back they said nope sorry. After two more calls the item shipped anyway and I was stuck with it. Horrible customer service, dishonest company, and just fair quality products. My first and last order with them."

NO REFUND
"I purchased two pair of cargo style sweatpants on the 9th of January, cost $18.98.
I received them and they didn't fit right, so I sent them back, at a cost of $11.75, on the 17th of January.
I heard nothing from the company and left them an e-mail on the 8th of February. They replied that they needed the tracking number.
I sent them the tracking number and haven't heard a thing since.
Very poor customer service."

"I ordered one item from them. As other have said they signed me up for 'Perks' without my knowledge. I'm glad I used PayPal which made disputing the 'Perks' charge of $14.95 easy. If I had used a credit card, I might not have noticed for months, but PayPal sent me an email that I had authorized a charge while I was sleeping.
What they do is certainly unethical. It should be illegal to enroll someone without explicit permission."

broken merchandise
"I ordered Christmas decorations and when they arrived they did not work. I asked for a UPS label so I could return them. That has been 3 months ago and I was promised a refund of the amount of $15. I finally received it after many attempts and finally they sent me a check in the amount of $10.68. You have to pay a for shipping but they don't refund it when their merchandise is faulty. I will never order from them again. Extremely disgusted!"

Perks SCAM
"I have always loved Lakeside, been ordering with them for over 10 years. Even my friends love looking through the Lakeside catalog at my house. One friend even adds to my orders so she doesn't have to pay shipping.
Well, this December I ordered some small gifts to finish up Christmas. Come Dec 28th I have a charge for Lakeside Perks. I don't even know what it is. I've reached out to Lakeside via email twice and once in chat. Finally the person in chat told me to call an 800 number. I just disputed with my bank. I don't have time to go around and around with them."

Lakeside Collection Perks scam
"I ordered items from Lakeside Collections using a credit card and was signed up for "Perks" without my knowledge or permission. If I hadn't opened the piece of junk mail Perks sent to my address I wouldn't be aware that they were preparing to charge my card 15.00 a month on an ongoing basis for a rebate and shipping service that I have no use for. I called the service phone number and after several failed attempts reached a customer service rep that cancelled the "service". I would caution anyone who has used a credit card to buy from Lakeside Collections to check their statements to see if 15.00 a month is being drained from their account without their knowledge or approval. I will never buy from Lakeside Collections again."

Return Policy
"I ordered a monogram picture as a Christmas gift. I went to wrap it today and there is a piece of glass broken in the top right hand corner. I never saw it at all and only found it today because the piece of glass came loose. The picture is black and grey, so very hard to see it was even broken. It is still in the plastic wrap, so not even opened. I called customer service and spoke with Jean, and she informed me of their new return policy of 30 days. I explained to her the situation, and that I have other gifts I bought from Lakeside I am giving for Christmas also. She asked a supervisor Jenny, if they could make an exception, and the answer was no. I am just hoping the other gifts I bought are ok, and from now on will shop local stores during the year for my Christmas gifts that will back their product when the customer has a problem like this that is not their fault. I am out $29.98, but Lakeside in the long run is out more than that."

One of my favorite online retailers
"I only trust 2 online retailers and Lakeside is one of them. I've made quite a few purchases over the last year and they've always been fast and reliable. I can't say anything about their return policy because I've never had to return anything I bought. It was all good quality at a good price. One thing that solidifies my decision to buy an item is the reviews other people made of that item. I decided not to buy certain items because of the reviews. They did have a shortage on a clearance item I ordered but they notified me by email straight away and passed the credit accordingly."

Do Not ORDER from them! It's a Scam!
"Like you, I was enthralled by may of their catalog items. But, when an item was not to my liking (cheap looking), and the other item is a curtain that doesn't fit my window well.
I tried calling in an attempt to return the item. The first phone call's automated system said "Estimated wait time was 8 minutes." I held for a good 10 minutes. Called again, and the 2nd time had the exact same 8 minute wait time. I held for 45 minutes!!! And the 3rd time, same "estimated 8 minute wait time" and waited for 30 minutes. Cannot get through. But, after reading these reviews, I don't think it'll be worth my time holding. I should have read these reviews first!"

They keep taking money off my credit card without me placing an order.
"I ordered a few items back in September. Since than they have taken $14.95 out of my bank account twice. I called to complain that they are mistakenly taking payments out of my account. I was told I had to pay them $4.95 to secure my card with them. I called and cancelled my debit card. My bank is now handling the transactions as fraud."

Cheap items and horrible customer service
"I ordered a large shipment online; you would imagine if an item was unavailable it would not be available for purchase however after my order was placed and paid for I received an email that said item was no longer in stock. Here we are a month later and I have yet to receive a refund to my bank account nor has customer service replied to my emails. Also once my order arrived one item with multiple parts was missing SIX pieces. I again messaged customer service to no avail. I absolutely discourage anyone to buy from this company."
