D and irate!!
"We went to peebles on July 14,2020 to purchase birthday presents for our grandaughter. One of the items were a pair of open toed shoe boots. On July 15 we brought them to her and realized that both of the boots were for the right foot and one was a size 12 and the other was a size 13. I went there on July 16 to NOT RETURN THEM but to get the left shoe boot in a size 13 ,this was the size that we thought we were purchasing. The store clerk said to us that there are no returns which I understood because they were going out of business. I said I'm not returning anything, I just wanted the right foot shoe in a size 13. THEY WOULD NOT DO IT!!!!!!! She said that she was very sorry but there are no returns. She also said that people look through so many shoes and don't put the sizes back in the right boxes. She said that they try to make sure that the shoes are correct. I said that she should put a sign in the shoe department to let the customers know to check the shoes and sizes. She said that this has happened to so many customers. She also said that they usually check when a customer is checking out. I said nobody checked ours! I was upset and firmly thanked her and upon entering the hallway out of the store, I tossed the box of the 2 right footed shoes with 2 different sizes on the bench!!!!! #1 THESE SHOES CANNOT BE WORN AT ALL BECAUSE THEY BOTH GO ON THE SAME FOOT. THEY ARE OF VALUE TO NO ONE. #2 IF THIS HAS HAPPENED TO SO MANY CUSTOMERS, JUST HOW MUCH MONEY HAS BEEN WRONGFULLY TAKEN FROM THE CONSUMER!!!!! We do not have the money to just freely give away. This was WRONG IN EVERY SENSE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"
