"The computer is great. Just what I wanted. Puget does a heck of a job keeping you informed during the build and makes great suggestions to make the computer better. It arrived boxed up so well that I don't think anything could hurt it during shipping. I will go to Puget if I ever get another computer. They fully test the computer and send you the reports and pictures thru email which I thought was great.

"Working with Puget Custom Computers was a wonderful surprise. I saved a configuration, before any purchase and was contacted to see if there was any assistance needed. Great communications to assess the trade-off of components, RAID configs, additions to support my devices. I got a video of my unit as it was being tested and pictures of the final product before shipping. It was like having a baby! Awesome customer service and the PC I received is exactly what I wanted."

"Hello Friends,
The Puget Obsidian is the best computer I've ever had. I'm a very satisfied customer. Five stars out of five.
The Ubuntu distro runs like a dream. There was one minor quibble though. At first it wouldn't boot into a bootable DVD. I tried it a few times. Then I tried a different DVD and it booted. Then I tried the original DVD that wouldn't boot, and it worked. It seems to have fixed itself. I was worried for a minute there but it's fine now.
As I said, a minor anomaly. All is well.

"Excellent communication and consultation on a configuration. The build quality is amazing. All internal wires are optimally installed and beautifully assembled. Packing for shipping is also something I never saw before in a good sense. They care about what they sell. Also a test report included in the package is very nice.
Overall, their service went far beyond my expectation."

"I did a Google search for fast, quiet computers and found the Puget Systems website. The website is very impressive - well organized, informative, thoughtfully done. I selected a desktop computer and specified the components I wanted. I then had an e-mail discussion with William George, customer service lead. He was interested in knowing how I would use the computer, and he had some excellent suggestions as to what components would be best. Together we considered every detail and he made the necessary changes for me before I finalized the order. They built the system, tested it, and had it ready to be shipped, all in just a week. They even took photographs of the computer and sent them to me, along with a video of my particular machine with a demonstration of where the various parts were located within the case. I requested shipment by ground, and the system arrived in 7 days, just as promised. There were a couple of minor tears in the cardboard box, sustained in transit, but no damage to the contents. The computer worked perfectly, no problems at all."

"I recently received the second computer I have purchased from Puget Systems and I can't speak highly enough about their service and the quality of the computers they sell. As a photographer I do heavy photo editing and wanted a computer could handle anything Photoshop or Lightroom could throw at it. The first computer I purchased from Puget was in 2008 and is still going strong even for heavy editing work. I've never had any other computer last for even close to that long without any issues whatsoever.
It recently came time to upgrade and I knew there was only one place to go for a new system. I e-mailed the same customer service person from six years ago (William George). William is very knowledgeable about the pros/cons of all the components and how they would work for my usage. He had records of our discussions from six years ago and was able to incorporate what we talked about as we put together this system. We corresponded over e-mail and he was always very quick to respond and answer my many questions.
Like my first system, the new one is performing flawlessly. There is literally no "junk" on the system to slow it down and everything is completely optimized for what I want to do.
I rated the cost of Puget's products as being "high priced". Compared to an off the shelf system or buying a "custom" computer from Dell they are high priced. The high price doesn't tell the whole story because if there was a category for value I'd give them the highest rating possible. With Puget you pay slightly more up front but it could not be more worth it. You get a system that lasts significantly longer and works significantly better than "lower cost" systems. Over the long run Puget is significantly cheaper than buying a system that isn't optimized for your use and that needs to be replaced every few years."

"Puget Systems is in a word: AWESOME. From my initial visit to their website, to conferring with Jeff in customer service regarding my needs and application, to purchasing and receiving my new system, they are a first-class organization. Their thermal imaging and complete specs and history of my system (in a binder with the shipment, no less!) is a great touch. I was able to track the system through every step of their very thorough assembly and testing processes. I have every confidence that any system I buy from Puget, and I will be buying more from them, will arrive ready to work and completely stable.
I used to shop for a complete system, then, finding that I could build a system myself with much better components for the same price as an assembled system, I would just build it myself. While this was fun for awhile, it got to be very time consuming. That has now officially ended for me, as Puget offers systems with high quality components at such reasonable prices that it makes no sense for me to build my own any more. Thank You Puget, I will definitely be back!"
