"I ordered a Pioneer PDP-5020fd recently from this merchant. Like many of you I was very hesitant about purchasing a plasma hdtv online. I did a lot of checking before settling on Satellite and Sound. I narrowed my choice of merchants to two authorized Pioneer dealers based mainly on Resellerratings.com's reviews and my phone conversations with the two companies. I spoke with Dave at Satellite and Sound twice before ordering. He was very helpful in alleviating my anxiety about making such an expensive purchase online without just saying what he thought I wanted to hear. There was none of the east coast electronics sales pressure applied that I've received speaking to many of their competitors. The set arrived from California to Ohio in less than a week. The exterior of the box was in excellent condition and it was strapped to a pallet the same size as the bottom of the box. Upon opening, the condition of the television was excellent and it works perfectly up to the writing of this review. I would recommend Satellite and Sound without hesitation as an online merchant and will purchase from them again in the near future."

"I haven't written many reviews, but I feel compelled to add my praise for Dave at Satellite and Sound. I was about to order a Pioneer item from another dealer when I found that Pioneer will not honor the warranty if not purchased from an authorized seller. I thought, uh oh, here comes the price gouge. But after checking out many of the authorized online dealers I called Satellite and Sound. The price was the best I'd found anywhere and Dave was very efficient in placing the order, sending the confirmation and shipping invoice, and answering email questions. The item arrived in three days and looks great. I will heartily recommend this store for future purchases."

"dave & doug's customer service skills are outstanding they are the best on-line retailers i've ever come across they were so helpful to me in answering all my questions and they were never rudd to me considering the many times i called asking them every question in the book about the pioneer plasma kuro-5080 since this was going to be my 4th hdtv and i wanted it to be one that i will keep a lot longer than the ones i had.
there delivery service is excellent i ordered my plasma from them on new year's eve and it was in my house in new york by friday morning.
know that's shipping. i'm absolutely one happy customer the purchase of this plasma is difinitely a keeper. the picture of this 5080hd is outstanding no artifacts or motionblur the blacks on this plasma are like my old crt hdtv which was the proscan ps3800 the worlds largest picture tube
and the blacks on those tubes were great.
kudos to satellite and sound!!"

"My experience with Satellite & Sound was excellent. We wanted a Pioneer plasma and decided to limit our search to just authorized Pioneer resellers since we felt that having a valid manufactuer's warranty was important. Satellite & Sound's price was very competitive - Doug, the sales person, was professional and informative (we did purchase an extended warranty - 4 add'l years for $295 - which I thought was a relatively small price to pay to protect a $4,500 investment). The TV arrived locally maybe 3 or 4 days after placing the order, and was delivered to our home the following day. This was an enjoyable, pain-free, hassle-free process and we saved $1,500 - $2,000 versus buying at a brick and mortar retailer. I highly recommend this on-line retailer."

"These guys are a 10 in my book. Ordered a pioneer 5030FD on 10-22-2007. It was at my door on 10-29-2007 only because the typist ordered a 6030FD by mistake, but it was caught in time. I placed my order with Doug and every time I called his partner Dave was well aware of of my order.There was no excessive time on hold or trying to get a hold of the right person. You can feel at ease ordering a big ticket item from Satellite and sound. Great company to deal with and good prices too."

"I ordered a pioneer 5060HD from Satellite and Sound. Dave and doug were a pleasure to work with through the order process and made me aware of some quantity limitations and gave a target date for expected availability. They promtly contacted me when a set was availiable and it was received from a drop shipper on the east coast. Unfortunately, the set was received with a fractured power board in the media receiver. Doug and Dave made every effort to expedite repair and would have even sent a replacement media receiver had one been available. Unfortunately the same limitations to quantites by the manufacturer made this impossible. This was obviously a stressful purchase but Sattelite and Sound made every effort to resolve the situation as quickly as possible. I know there are many vendors out there that are quick to take your money then vanish like vapor after the sale. That simply was not the case with sattelite and sound. EVERY effort was taken to repair the problem and have me with a wonderful set as quickly as possible. Hats off to Sattelite and Sound."

"Outstanding experience. Called all authorized Pioneer plasma internet dealers (for the PDP4360 HD) and S&S had the best price and great "phone rapport" (no hard sales approach). Post-sale follow-up was great (email confirm, shipping info, etc). Product arrived on time and in great condition. Handled follow-up questions on setup by phone. Had such a good experience that I followed up with purchase of Yamaha HTR5990 receiver and Panasonic DVD S77S. Same great experience with these. Worked primarily with Dave and he's fantastic. Little bit of interaction with Doug and he seemeded to be cut from a similar cloth."
