POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE, MY POOR REVIEW WAS DELETED, DEFECTIVE ARROWS
"I ordered 12 Sportsman's Guide brand arrows, which could be ordered in lots of six or 12. It came in 2 six-packs. Half of the arrows were defective - their inserts would not allow field tips or broadheads to be screwed in. I returned one six-pack and asked that it be exchanged for non-defective arrows.
Instead, I received a credit for about half the order. I emailed customer service saying that I wanted the defective arrows replaced, not credited. The reply told me to re-order, and that the shipping fee would be waived. So I tried re-ordering, but was told by the rep that the charge would still be more than the amount I was credited.
I emailed customer service two more times, explaining that if I couldn't get a full set of 12 working arrows for the original purchase price, I'd have to return the six-pack I kept, resulting in a greater loss for the Sportsman's Guide. The last email - sent 32 days ago - went unanswered. ALSO, I WROTE A "POOR" REVIEW, & AFTER BEING UP ON THE GUIDE'S SITE A FEW DAYS, IT WAS DELETED! THIS MEANS YOU CAN'T TRUST ITS REVIEWS."
"On 8-25-20 I ordered a Hornady Night Guard and they took my money. I waited and waited but no email came to tell me they had put a hold on my order. You can barely get through to them on the phone but when I did through the girl couldn't tell me why there was a hokd and said the people that release it weren't in. So I had to wait 4 more days and called them back. After 10 minutes on hold the girl asked me questions then said they had to verify information from me. Now its going to take another 10 days to get it. Total time 1 month. Never order from them, they are horrible!"
"Placed a first time order and my credit card was charged $310 the next day. After that, I never received a confirmation email, a timeline email.....crickets. A month goes by still no reply. I call and get the ol "due to our extremely high call volume......." and it hangs up on you. I am not sure what extremely high call volume a sporting goods dealer would have! Emailed some more, still crickets. EXCEPT, I received multiple daily sales ad emails from them! Finally wrote a bad review on the website and filed a complaint with Paypal on a Thursday and MIRACULOUSLY by Monday I had my product!!! I am not sure that this "business" is legit. Do NOT order from them. Never experienced anything like this before in my life"
"My order was cancelled because they said they needed more information. Sent information prior to order being cancelled. Was told they had everything they need . This is a scam business they lie cheat and want you to give them money for nothing. Only a complete moron would buy their membership. I cancelled my trial before they could screw me out of hard earned cash. Would not recommend."
"i wasted my time and money paying for the Sportsman's Guide $ 49 savings membership , don't be another victim.. as long you purchase a little all goes ok.. when the savings becomes a big number on big orders is when the game starts, i have three different orders frozen or processing and even cancelled with no reason.. i have items in my orders showing status in back order when the items are in stock at the website.. i have orders on 4 pay plan with two months already collected in my credit card and the order is still on hold .. sportsman's guide is disconnecting the phones , just try calling by yourself , they are not responding e mails and a personally sent several ones.. i cant cancel my orders through my account online because they do not offer that option, i already filed against them with BBB
i cant describe how frustrating this is, Im a air gun tuner and i buy a lot of air gun from many places and i need my merchandise to stay on business this people is really affecting me and my business."
"My account so screwed up after first order that they cannot figure it out, give a truthful answer or even let you know that they will pick your call up after putting you on 17 minute “short hold, please”. I know it only holds 17 minutes before it automatically gives a customer service review and hangs up on you. No answer to emails, yet, either.

"This company does not even deserve one star. I ordered 2 ammo cans from them based on the picture they showed. The pictured showed a pristine looking ammo can with the markings I wanted on it. What I got were 2 ammo cans with no markings, faded paint, rust, dents, dirty, and smelled like dog pooh! No kidding! These cans smelled like they were used to collect dog doo! Of course I contacted them about it and here was their reply:

Wasn't that nice of them! When I asked for them to be replace, I got no answer at all. I'm going to post in other places where I can show pictures. Don't buy from this rip-off company. You never know what you're really going to get and they stand by nothing."

"Taking the membership from $20 to $30 and now $49.95 (come on...it's fifty bucks) is the end for me. Quality has gone south and shipping costs up. Not only that, they now add "shipping tax" to the shipping amount...which is not even a taxable item. Huh? What? Specialists are utterly unqualified on giving information on anything that isn't in the meager descriptions that lack specs and they stopped taking returns on a lot of items at all (especially anything in optics that can cost a bundle). Even called them on their membership increase and they just didn't care. Spent $3K there usually annually and that's gone. Hard to justify that sort of increase as anything but gouging and robbery."

"Bought a Savage riffle from SG. It was advertised with a $60.00 rebate. I filled out the rebate form properly. Here we are 5 months later and I have not received my rebate check. Called customer service a few times. They say they don't handle the rebates. They are sent to a rebate center. Rebate center tells me to be patient. Don't buy anything from Sportsman Guide. Terrible Company! I am on disability. With a fixed income. I saved money for a long time to purchase this gun. I really could use the rebate money."
