"With the exception of credit card authorization (On Chase Bank's end), the process was quick and easy. A call to customer service resolved the authorization within minutes."

I understand an item going back-order after the order is placed. I do not understand not letting the customer know that it's not going to ship as anticipated. I was still waiting over a week later when I called customer service to inquire. A very nice lady helped me look up the order and find that a) there was a back-order on a single soldering tip and b)"It will ship today".
I did not want to zing them on the review, but we are another week down the road with no supplies and no further communication.
Either ship or communicate, but preferably both.
