"I placed an order and paid through Paypal. Early morning the next day my payment was refunded. No communication whatsoever from Wholesale Marine. A few days later I contact them and They explained that their system flagged my order as fraudulent. Stuff happens; I get it. I’m not complaining about that, but they never communicated that fact to me so I could resolve the situation. Even after contacting them and them providing the explanation, they never even offered to arrange to place the order again. Totally tone deaf. What crappy customer service. I went to Leaders RPM instead."
"Had a bad experience at first trying to register the trailer. Had to return four time to the DMV. It turned out to be the NJ DMV that was causing the aggravation. Gary at Wholesale Marine was VERY ATTENTIVE, communicative, and stayed positive; even made me smile during an aggravating time. "Had to replace my control cables on my 2 mercury outboard. With 4 of July coming fast I didn't want to wait a week to get my parts and Wholesale Marine offered 2 day delivery as a option. Ordered parts and they were better quality than the original cables but with the factory ends perfect. Easy installation
Side note: I ordered the wrong length the first time, called and no problem returning the wrong ones, and I ordered the new ones at the same time. Great experience."
"I had a pet that was a few days over 90 days old, one wholesale marine agent said ok to return without restocking, the other didn’t. Talking to them about it resulted in a hang up! Should never do that, regardless of who’s right. BAD customer service"
"I ordered two fishing reels that were shown as in stock. I received a confirmation of my order and they charged my credit card. They stated they usually ship the next day. After 9 days and no shipping confirmation I called and was told they were out of stock, on back order with no estimated delivery date. I had to call and wait forever to find out they took my money but had no delivery promised. They could have at least contacted me instead of wasting my time and taking my money. Waiting for a refund!"
"Buy elsewhere !!!!!I purchased a propeller from Wholesale Marine with a promise delivery date they missed the promised delivery date I won't provide a full refund this is part of the agreement when I made the decision to purchase as I was leaving on vacation.
When I came back from vacation I spoke to Courtney Mo and Rob to no avail apparently the company doesn't stand by its promises"
