Geared up
"If was a good experience. They helped just enough so as not to be annoying. They steared us in the directions for the best gear possible for our wants, they did the low pressure upsale but only on some gear with mkre ootions than we wanted. Good experience all together."

Another flawless experience
"Reserved a helmet online. It was waiting for me up front upon arrival. My Associate was very knowledgeable and helpful. I bought the helmet, matching com. system, and some new riding pants. Not my first or last trip to this store."

"We stopped in at Cycle Gear to look at helmets and was provided immediate and excellent service. I'm new to sports requiring helmets and they answered all of our questions, showed us a wide-range of models, and gave us time to browse, try on. And of course we purchased two amazing helmets!"

Employees are not as helpful as they could be
"Walked in and explained exactly what I was looking for. Employee told me they didn’t keep it in stock and was a special item order only. I tried to explain my buddy had just bought the same thing a week before in stock, but he said they didn’t have it. I then walked around the store and sure enough I found it in stock in a completely different section then he showed me where the in stock options were. I showed him and he scoffed and blew me off. He wasn’t helpful and honestly didn’t seem to care. Not the best experience I’ve had."

I had bought 2 sets of heated
"I had bought 2 sets of heated gear. One set fir me and one set fir my husband. He didn’t want his. We went to return it. The pants were never taken out of the bag they came it. The young guys that “helped” me. Took everything out of the bags. Inspect every square inch. Didn’t talk to me when I was trying to talk to him. Made it clear to me there was only a 30 day tine frame. There were 2 other girls there looking over his shoulder looking at the gear. I felt like I had done something wrong. Don’t think I’ll be back. I spent almost $850 in that purchase. I have spent a lot of money there. Don’t think I’ll be going back."

"This was the first time I’ve purchased riding gear. The staff seemed to be more interested in chatting with each other rather than offer assistance. I got what I needed, but for the amount of money I spent, I think u should have gotten a bit more help."

Enjoyable experience, felt welcome
"This trip was different from other trips to this cycle gear. Neither Loki nor Trevor were working, it was 2 or 3 girls there instead and they were all extremely nice. Any other time I go in there the 2 guys Loki and Trevor are working and they are complete and total ****. Act like they are better than you and know more just cause they work at cycle gear"

Ordered the wrong got the correct

The worst customer service I have ever experienced and I shop at Walmart....
"I walked in with a few thousand and purchased a full setup for my new bike with no help from the staff! I had a fit problem with my bike cover since i got no guidance it was bound to happen. When i did a reciept exchange the two girls treated me like i was a criminal or something ! Seriously disgusted in this store!!!"

"I'm new to buying modern cycle gear having been out of the market for about 30 years. So I was excited to find that I could check stock and read reviews and THEN go to my local store and make a purchase. I bought a helmet, riding boots, and saddlebags for my new bike. I also ordered a non-stock eye shield which was delivered with free shipping in three days! Excellent experience and I got discount prices on everything. I definitely will shop at Cycle Gear again."
