Chatty and rude
"I am standing in line yesterday to mail 2 packages--Canada Post is located inside the store and is staffed by London Drug employees--behind one person, with two people at the registers with two staff members. One staff member is helping a guy that came in with multiple packages to mail and they were obviously going to different countries (many entries, many searches for best price shipping, etc.), but that's not the problem... The other staff person is standing there CHATTING about a vehicle with the pretty girl at the counter and completely ignoring the other people in line, which is now 3. I am not in a hurry so I decide to just watch and see what happens... This guy literally talked with her for over 8 minutes, then the other staff person mentioned that there was line forming so they ended their conversation and he took the next person.......... and proceeded to strike up a conversation with HER!!! Dear Lord, does this guy have no human contact outside of this place?? So I decide to time this one--I am currently the next person in line, btw--and it took him another 10 minutes to wrap it up with her, all the while I notice 5 more people have gotten in line! I look to the first staff member to see that they are wrapping the multiple shipping and I try to anticipate talking with him about this--he has "Store Manager" on his badge--but he turns to a young lady and says "You're back? Here you go..." and walks away, all the while admonishing a woman very rudely for using a cart too close to the front doors. WHAT KIND OF STORE IS THIS? WHERE IS THE CUSTOMER SERVICE TRAINING? By the time I left the store it had taken me 30 minutes to mail 2 packages, and I was the second person in line... Wow...."
