My Experience with Mercari: Double Standards in Their Return Policy
"What Happened
-I sold an authentic SKIMS t-shirt on Mercari for $25
-The buyer claimed it was "inauthentic" without providing visible evidence
-Mercari approved their return without sharing any of the buyer's photos with me despite multiple requests
-When I received the item back, it had a severe mold-like odor making it unsellable
-I reported the damage within Mercari's required 24-hour window
-Mercari rejected my claim because I couldn't photograph an odor
-I filed a BBB complaint pointing out the double standard: accepting"

DON'T ORDER FROM THEM
"We ordered and after multiple emails to confirm our address our items ships but the tracking numbers provided were for multiple wrong locations. After hours on the phone trying to talk to someone and multiple emails we were provided with new tracking numbers which were also incorrect. We finally got all of our product after 3 months of this mess. They offered $10 in Swing Design credits for compensation...."
