Elite seals are prestigious banners given to retailers who are loved by their customers. To get one, a retailer has to consistently get high scores over time
"Ordered was easy. The price was very good. After a couple of days, I was contacted to make sure that I was chosing the appropriate lense. When I received the shipment, I noticed a UV filter was included. I did not order it but they charged me for it - not a good thing to do. If it cost more than $18, I would have tried to return it."
"I would have rated this transaction 5 stars if the communication following placement of my order had been better. I did not hear if the order had been shipped. Had to call to ask about status. Then I was given a tracking number. I had to keep tracking the shipment. I am used to sellers who proactively send me notices that track the progress of the shipment. I think TriState could improve this aspect of their shipments."
"Looking for an expensive camera and lens found the best price on the internet was TriState bundle. Free shipping and good communication. Also liked that they shipped when label created, some companies create label and ship days later."
"I was so excited to get this lens that I had it shipped to my hotel while out of town. It came quick and was packaged well. Beautiful lens and experience."
"This is my first order from the company, and it will not be my last. My order crossed the United States and arrived in New Mexico in good time. My order came exactly as describe, very happy.
thank you"
Didn't tell me UPS needed a signature when I placed the order.
"Received order on time ok, but you didn't tell me UPS needed a signature when I placed the order. It caused me considerable inconvenience as I had to arrange for someone to be home most of the day. Also, your website is not mobile friendly. It's cluttered with too much on one screen and the fonts are very small on a cellphone unless you have perfect vision"
Experience with Tri-State-GREAT, Experience with UPS, their shipper-NOT so great
"Called Tri-state and asked about their lens that I was interested in. They gave me all the answers I needed. Ordered through their website and it was great. No problems at all. They kept me informed on shipping and arrival date.
UPS placed a delivery notice on our box. We live about 1400 feet from the street and have a large container box for UPS, FED-EX and Amazon. They all know to use it. I understand the first delivery notice, but they marked that it needed a signature, which I understood. I signed it and left it. The next day, they left another delivery notice and marked that it needed a signature. I put both together to show that I did sign it. The next delivery day, they drove to our gate and left a delivery notice on our gate. I finally had enough and called the 1-800 number and was told it had to have a physical signature, meaning they had to witness someone signing the delivery. How am I supposed to know when they are at my driveway, 1400 feet away, if they don't call or text me to let me know they are there. Our gate is closed for the dogs and they are not allowed to open gates. I asked if they could leave it at the center and I would pick it up. Well, they don't do that anymore. After many conversations with managers, I decided to wait at the end of our driveway for UPS to show up. The email they sent me said between 12-2pm but they didn't show until 4 pm. Not happy with UPS or the fact that they didn't call me to tell me that they were there. Maybe Tri-State could require a phone call to their customers if a delivery notice is left once so this doesn't happen again? Just a thought."
"Someone called me to tell me that they did not have any more of the model of sewing machine I ordered, but would replace it with a newer model. It arrived today! Great customer service!"
