"I paid for a domain. After a couple days of it "processing", I contacted support and was told that "(the) registry needs to review them and decide if they will be able to be registered." After about a week I did a whois on my domain only to find that it had been registered to someone else. I again contacted customer support with the evidence that domain was registered to someone else. The representative promptly refunded me, but in the ordeal, I lost the domain.

As it turns out several of the domain names were not available so I was given false hope in the purchase. It was not 101's fault however because it was the register of the domains that had them listed for purchase. So I am very happy with the service that I have received from 101 because I did get several good .sexy domain names that I wanted. but I am somewhat dissatisfied for above mentioned reasons. Also on one occasion I was told that I could not get a domain because it was already taken but when I went straight to the register I got it from them because it was available. Obviously better communication between 101 and the register's computers is needed. "

"Order got canceled a day after it was placed. The payment was returned, but I nevertheless didn't get what I ordered.
Edited to add: After placing the order I got a message saying it was placed on hold. I was asked to scan my passport, both sides of my credit card, and to print, sign and scan a particular form. This was because of unspecified 'inconsistencies' with my order. This was a hassle I didn't care for, and I have since bought the domain from a competitor.
I get that online stores want to protect against fraud, but there was nothing fraudulent about this, and I don't see why it would be flagged as such. I've successfully bought things online with this card before and after this order from 101domains."
