"Believe the negative reviews on this company. My own experience mirrors theirs including: 1) shipment of a refurbished item when I ordered a brand new one and 2) no delivery of another item (the expensive piece of merchandise) after two delivery dates.
These people simply lie and misrepresent to the point where they could only be diagnosed as sociopaths.
In my case, I did get a refund for the most expensive item, but I first filed a complaint with AMEX and the New York State Consumer Protection Board at http://www.nysconsumer.gov/complaint.htm .
I believe that without having taken these actions and informing 123BuyDirect of the actions, I would not have gotten my money back.
Beware doing business with any of their other dbas: Price Mad, Barnett Computer Warehouse, CompDirect or any business with the street address 417 5th Avenue, New York, NY 10016.

"123 Buy Direct is to be avoided! It is a SCAM. I ordered a Sharp LC42D43U HDTV on Aug. 8. because of a low price. It was "in stock" would be shipped in 2 days. After several calls, over several days, with many disconnects, long waits, and incredibly rude contacts, shipping still could not be confirmed. There were no tracking numbers or email confirmations, as promised, even though an extra $99 was paid to obtain them. Eventually, I was told the TV had been the subject of a factory recall, which I quickly found not to be true. On Sept. 8th, I told 123 Buy Direct Customer Service to cancel the order. I was informed the TV had already been shipped. When asked for details on the shipping, I was again cut off. Again, I called back and, after several cut offs and long waits, explained that the order must be canceled. In the process of explaining why, the customer service representative again cut me off. I immediately called my credit card company and told them not to pay 123 Buy Direct. At that time, 123 Buy Direct immediately tried to charge my credit card for the TV. Thank God I had blocked the charge. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DO BUSINESS WITH THESE PEOPLE!

"NEVER BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!! Horrible customer service, extremely rude, and unreliable. I initially encountered this company because it had the lowest price (by approx $50) for my 46" Sony Bravia XB5 LCD TV. Within 5 minutes, a salesperson called me and convinced me to buy a newer Samsung model. He was very nice at that point. He even threw in expedited service for 1/2 price, and HDMI cables. This is where the good ends, and the rest begins. He promised an updated email with the change of model and amount - which took 4 days instead of the promised few hours (though the credit charge sure was immediate). Next, the 7-9 day expedited delivery date came and went - no TV. I called him, and the same salesperson was unprofessional and very rude. He was argumentative, blamed his customer service department for any errors made, and made more empty promises. He promised that I would be contacted, either by phone or email, within 4-5 days with the delivery time/date. He also promised to return the expedited delivery charge - which was never done. Again, after another deliver date came and went, I called back, and asked that my entire order be refunded. He convinced me to give them one more chance to deliver the TV within a few days. That, too, came and went. I called back again, and he promised full refund. However, after not receiving it for 5 days, I called again. After talking to at least 3 rude customer service agents, I talked to an assistant manager, who agreed to recredit my credit card, but AFTER they called the delivery company - the TV was being delivered!!! None of this was even documented!!! Since I had no trust in the company's documentation, I asked her to read her notes back to me to ensure she documented this - she stated "No, I will not do that - too busy - goodbye!". Incredible. Please don't think that saving $50 is worth any of this headache. Go to Best Buy or other local store, and have them "price match" your best on-line price search. They won't accept some internet prices, and you will also have to pay taxes, but so much more worth it."
"Watch your wallet and be prepared for the worst customer service you will experience.
Talking to the sales person will require that you wash the slime off after the experience. They will try and up-sell you components at 3 to 5 times what you can buy them for at Best Buy or on ebay. They even tried to sell me last years model at 15% more – really slimy sales personnel.
Your credit card gets charged immediately – not just funds reserved but actual charge amount.
Free delivery is by Freight which they do not initially mention will take 30 to 45 days. They maintain that tracking is not possible. They act as if you deserve this treatment since you did not pay for enhanced shipping.
Typical hold for Customer Service is 15 to 30 minutes to get a rude New York woman who is obviously irritated that you, the customer, actually called to complain.
Be sure to watch your credit card statement and when the charge comes if you do not have your merchandise dispute the charge instantly for no goods being delivered. When the money gets pulled from their merchant account they will whine and cancel the order but not tell you that is has been canceled.
Avoid this firm and go elsewhere to a reputable merchant.
