"The customer service lady was nice when she called and informed me that was an error in my address and zip code.

However, using FedEx for shipping was ridiculous because they are slow. They need to offer shipping through the postal service which is faster AND delivers on Saturdays.

As far as the actual product performance, well, the rear usb ports and read input/output (sound in particular) do not function properly. Also, the driver cd that came with the system does not work. I had to download the drivers from the internet.

Other than the nice lady, I am not impressed with the shipping or any other aspect of the product(s). "

"In spite of the mixed reviews, I tried 1st Choice Memory because their prices are far below average and they've been around for a reasonable amount of time.

I was not disappointed.

Contrary to indications, my orders were processed and delivered quickly, about a week ahead of what was projected. In addition, I was provided USPS tracking information, which was accurate.

While the online ordering process does attempt to add on costs which are unnecessary, such as testing of memory and "heavy-duty" packaging, it was easy enough for me to spot and deselect those options and keep my costs down to the prices found as listed by PriceWatch.

A borderline sketchy checkout process, but 1st Choice Memory delivers as advertised if you pay close attention to the options during checkout.

I would have liked email notification when my orders shipped, but I suppose not having that is one way for 1st Choice to keep their costs and prices so low."

"I was offered free shipping, but when I checked out, I got took to a screen offering me upgrades. The lowest priced one offered me protected packaging and a tracking number. Isn't anything less just unprofessional? I chose free, to see what I would get through the mail.
It came delivery confirmation, and by checking my order# on the site, I was able to get a tracking number for USPS, and a direct link to the USPS site to track it. It was shipped out on time, and well within the stated schedule I received it, though to be fair, I live in-state. The packaging was satisfactory for sticks of DRAM, and as I am using them in the computer on which I write this review, it is obvious they work.
Aside from the scare tactics to upgrade shipping, I can not complain about their product and speed."
