"When I called to verify my mailing address, they told me it would be beneficial if I ordered extra brackets as an add on to slide on to keep the sections of my sectional in place for $199. The guy even told me he personally owned this sectional.

No extra brackets were sent. When I contacted the company to ask, they are saying the manufacturer built in brackets are their add ons. Not true, as I have verified from other retailers of this item.
