Solid wood and what a great addition to our Great Room! The whole family keeps sitting at the table and eating - despite the full table in the kitchen area with 6 chairs! They love it! "Rep called to confirm order and made sure everything is correct. Also helped me out with a few other things. Said I needed a $150 mattress support since I only had a foam mattress and no box spring, the rep offered a discount but then offered it for free since I was a new customer. After I received my order over a month wait, there was no support system included , company tried saying the bed came with one but that’s for a box spring. Company will not own up to their mistake and will not credit me the cost of a mattress support that I must now buy. "
