I was shopping for a region free player that had it all but mostly a superior picture quality not only with 4K playback but with Blu-ray upscale as well as standard DVD playback.

I must say purchasing the Sony UBP-X800 was the answer to my needs for playback on my 88 inch Samsung 4k TV. This tv shows off the exceptional picture quality the Sony player can output.

Because I'm a movie collector 3D playback was also important for me as I have a vast library of 3D movies.

Movie collectors that are not able to get certain movies on Blu-Ray will love this player as it makes standard dvd's look great also.

The build quality of the player is also exceptional.

Now something a buyer of a region free player should not overlook and to me it was not just the player but the level of service of the company I would choose to do business with and that was 220 Electronics. For a couple of times that I called for information regarding players I must say Mike and Charles of the staff went beyond to please me with my purchase. They are most experienced with region free players and made me feel like I knew them for years and would be there for me even after the purchase.

I'm in my 30 day period of owning the machine and have put the machine through tasks of playing region A, B, Pal for the moment with no problems.

If your considering a true 4K machine give this machine some consideration of choice and the help of 220 Electronics to guide you with further questions. As a buyer I think you will be glad you did."
