"I was so pleased to find 220-electronics...I recently moved to China from America and I was told to leave various tools and small appliances in America as the voltage in China was too strong for my stuff and they would be ruined. I experienced that situation, in China, when I used an adapter with a curling iron last spring and not only did the appliance catch on fire, so did my hair! I have ordered a Kitchen-Aide stand mixer from 220-electronics because they are wired correctly for the voltage I will be using.
