"Placed a $111-order for some parts on Mar 22, for a USPS global priority and 4-7 business day delivery. It's been 15 weeks to this day and no sign of my order! I've contacted Ian Felts several times via his message board for "order related issues" (which I got banned from -- for negative publicity, I suppose) and via private email. On May 28, Ian responded that he's working with USPS on tracking the order but he has not since then provided any updates.
I'm still waiting to get refunded ($111) for an order I never received. I have no idea how long Ian intends to "search" for the package before he finally gives up. He's responded to one other customer regarding a similar issue that he will NOT refund orders unless the order is returned to him. I wonder if it's never returned (forever lost?)...
It's worse enough that your money's tied-up in something you do not have. Having the seller ignore you further adds insult to injury.

"I judge vendors on how quickly they resolve a problem, not how fast orders without problems or without errors are delivered by FedEx.
I recommend avoiding this vendor as it was way too difficult and time consuming to get him to correct his mistake.
Although 2cooltek claims he priority mailed the parts he left out of my original order on 04/11/02 I still have not received them as of 04/18/02. I suspect he more than likely did not mail them. So far he has my money, but I did not get all of the parts I paid for.
Good luck on getting him to email you the tracking number or email you a response AFTER the sale. If you read the other negative comments here, you will note that others have complained about 2cooltek not responding to emails. Comments about 2cooltek not responding to emails date back to 08/99. I emailed him asking for the tracking number (and got no response at all. I emailed him about the missing parts twice and got no response. I finally found and posted in his message board and he replied, but did not even say that he was sorry about the mistake. He ignored my posts for asking for a tracking number for the replacement parts until I posted several times and then finally he said he sent them Priority Mail.
I cannot comprehend all the praise this vendor has gotten until I take into consideration that the orders he has not made a mistake on must go smoothly.
My 2cooltek experience has been an complete disappointment to me especially after reading all the praise others have left for "Ian". I have received far better service from several other online computer cooling part vendors. I expect, and have received, better service than this from average resellerratings rated at 6.43 and below. High rating numbers do not necessarily guarantee a smooth transaction, I reccomend reading the comments and see exactly what vendor problems are mentioned again and again. Fast delivery generally only means the shipper deserves credit.

I say:
By your bringing up the dollar value of the item that you did not send with my original order, you seem to be implying, IMO, that you provide better service for those who submit a large dollar value order. Mistakes should be taken care of promptly and you should never "claim" that you mailed items they paid for when you have not. I expect good customer service for all items I buy, regardless of the dollar value of any item in the order. If a vendor cannot handle a small dollar value order promptly and correctly, how could anyone consider trusting him to handle a large dollar value order?
The biggest problem is poor communications on your end. I do not think very highly of vendors who take my money and repeatedly fail to email me back when there is a problem with the order. I have bought from many online vendors and my experience with getting a reply from you has definitely been the worst yet. You are not doing people a favor by selling to them, people are doing you a favor by buying from you. There plenty of other online vendors that sell the same products as you do. I prefer vendors that say sorry and take care of problems in a prompt and professional manner when they screw up. Why did you say you mailed the replacement parts on 4/11/2002 when the package was not postmarked until 4/15/2002?

No explanation or apology has been received. His greatest downfall still seems to be poor communication.
Very difficult transaction. It took way too long for him to complete his end of the transaction. I certainly would not feel comfortable in recommending him to others nor would I buy from him again. I honestly doubt that I ever would have received the parts if I had not made such a fuss here. Since I needed the parts I reordered from another vendor, so I would have preferred a refund but he did not give me any options.
I recommend avoiding this vendor at all costs. This transaction has been worse than the most difficult transaction that I have ever experienced of buying and selling on eBay since July of 1998!
Thanks resellerratings.com for helping me to get this vendor to finally send me what I paid him for! "
