"32 Bar Blues has some cool stuff in their catalog. It is overpriced and they charge ridiculous shipping rates. They actually charge more, the more you order--so far outside the mainstream of online retailing. But I liked two items, swallowed hard, and agreed to pay about $25 to ship them.
Here is the rub. I followed their size charge for a jacket, ordering a large. I am 5-10 and weigh 160. The jacket was ridiculously too small - tight as a glove and the sleeves were at least two inches too short. Well, these happen when ordering clothes.
But then I read the return policy and realized they were going to charge me $8.50 to return it FOR AN EXCHANGE to an X-Large. I called, thinking surely it will be easy to get them to credit this return fee since I was relying on their size charts and only seeking an exchange.
No! The woman would not do that (perhaps aided by her barking dog in the background). On principle, I returned both items. So now I am out about $35 in shipping for nothing.
Meanwhile, 10 days later, they still had not credited my credit card for the returned items so I had to set up a credit card dispute."
"I've ordered from 32 Bar Blues several times and have had a good experience overall. My most recent order was for two shirts and a pair of jeans. One shirt is a gold plaid, and the other is a darker blue, dressier shirt. They both fit me well which is nice, and the quality seems good. I placed my order over a weekend, and I received everything by midweek. I like the overall style of the catalog, and I'll probably continue to shop from them in the future. I have not had to deal with customer service as of yet, but if I have a poor experience, I'll update this review."
"Received order today and it looked completely different than color in catalog and did not match printed description either. I checked label on packing materials and it said it was indigo, just the color the catalog said, yet appears brownish and the leather trim on pockets darker brown. Not even remotely what I thought I ordered, I called to ask them not to charge me for return postage and refund me original postage since they were at fault with obviously wrong description. I reached a person who said she had to refer me to manager, then (what do you know?) much too busy to take my call but depending on who is waiting in line for call back, I will hear from them. I am so annoyed, especially after reading above experience of not getting called back for a long time and then not receiving item. This item of mine in question is over $100 in value and they doubled the postage cost on original order over what they will charge me for their return label. Any reputable company would apologize for their misrepresenting their item in the first place by refunding all shipping charges, but I do not see that happening. I'll be lucky if I get my money back at all. They get two stars right now because there is still a chance they will handle this properly.

"I have ordered on several occasions, and the 2nd time I ordered turned out to be back-ordered forever. I did not learn of it by any notice from them though, I had to log in to my account to discover it. Fulfillment date changed several times, then no date, then more dates. Placed another order for 3 items, turns out 1 was in stock, the others back ordered, but fulfillment dates were much sooner than quicker than item I'm still waiting for. 2 back ordered items have now been shipped, strangely coming from different locations, probably confirms suspicions from other reviewers that they are just a reseller. 3 month old back ordered item status suddenly shows message-"suspended-credit denied", they don't bill your cc until they are ready to ship, I guess a good policy, but the cc I gave back in March, has been replaced since then! I would have communicated that to them had I remembered that I used that cc to begin with, and known my item was finally in, I guess it is anyways, no message from them though. Sent lengthy note to customer service regarding their lack of communication, we'll see if there's much of a response. I agree with previous reviewer, I received this catalog shortly after receiving the Cobalt clothing one as well. Yes, pricey, but they have some cool stuff that I have not seen anywhere else, one pair of shoes that I could identify the label, I searched out and appears to be some Euro-type seller, price was similar but better in the Blues catalog believe it or not. So far the quality of items received from both companies seems to be very good. Clever marketing, I'll give them that, as a blues/rock guitarist, they got me there. Hopefully I'll be able to update my review when I receive all outstanding items."
"Just to state for the record, I have never ordered from them so I can't say either way but I got this catalog at the same time as another unknown company called Carbon 2 Cobalt. Also a loosely themed catalog selling over priced clothing. But what caught my eye is that the clothing in both catalogs looked almost identical. This company is probably just a third party seller of a wholesaler that slaps their logo on the package. Thus the grossly overpriced pricing. I could be wrong of course. Would also explain the lengthy shipping times. I wouldn't be surprised if this company is run by two people with an address leads list and no inventory of their own. Probably not a bad business model actually. "
"For the price, these clothes are overrated. Overall the clothing is cut very small! On January 25th I called to see if a exchange was processed. (I sent the exchange on the 11th) A lady named Jessica answered the call, and I told her why I was calling. She quickly told me she had to find a customer service rep. She put me on hold only to get a recording that they were busy, and to leave a message......ok. Great Customer care! NOT

Still haven't received my exchange. They did eventually call me back about a week ago, but they had no record of getting anything. They said that they needed a tracking number.....they are the ones that would have the tracking number though since I used THEIR return label. Strange!
I called today, and the same thing happened where I got a real person, but she couldn't help me with a return. She transferred me to a machine......calling the Better Business Bureau!"
"I believe that this is a relatively new company and will most likely not last long. I received an email confirmation of my order on 1/18/15. Five days later I have yet to receive any correspondence concerning processing or shipping, so I check their website. The item I ordered now indicates that it is out of stock in my XL size only and is “no longer available”. I checked my order status on the website only to find that is states “no shipment set”. I called their customer service number (no 800 number available) and was advised that the item I purchased has been discontinued; however if someone returns one it will be sent to me. I told her to cancel the order and give me a cancellation number. She said that she cannot give me a cancellation number. I can only wonder what will happen next…"
