"I was so happy when I first received my glasses! They fit perfectly, and were very flattering. Then I noticed that one earpiece was lacking ANY color in the area where the screws are. The 'dye' was simply missing, making that area transparent (and you could see the screws and hinge.) I debated whether or not to send them back, but decided to keep them and just try to ignore the clear spot. It continued to bother me, so I took some dark grey nail polish and covered the area. In the future, I will ask for better quality control when I order a pair of glasses. If someone would have noticed before they sent them to me, they could have simply replace the ONE earpiece with a perfect one. "

"I can see better with my old glasses in spite of their broken frames and Scotch-taped-in left lens. This is with a three-year-old prescription, which was made by the same optometrist who also provided my present, new prescription. I can pretty much read alright with these "39 Dollar Glasses," which cost well over $100 since they have (like my old glasses) progressive lenses. However, I definitely cannot see in the distance well enough to feel safe driving (which I could with my old glasses). Thus, I at a minimum need distance glasses for driving, if not better close-up indoor-use glasses. I am very disappointed with these 39-Dollar Glasses, and will not buy any more prescription glasses "on line.""
