"I found the process of trying on the glasses and ordering very easy. The glasses are sturdy and look good. On the down side, I did and still do have confusion as to the difference between the varilux and the type progressive lenses I bought. I have looked at other sites and found that issue as well. At check out I was offered a second pair at half price and declined. I called them the next morning to change that, but they said that this only a check out option. Oh well. Still was a good deal I can recommend."

"Would never use there services. I think it is a New York thing. Second company to make the glasses for me and both screw them up. Bifocal was so far off the lens never showed it. I have glasses that were made with a SEG height of 15 and the doctor said have them done at 18 and they said they would then said it had to be at 16. Well my old glasses have 15 and I can see the bifocal just before leaving the lens with my eyes which was causing the burning in my eyes. So if they were at 16 then it should show sooner and does not show at all. Frames may look like my old ones but now I see why they are so cheap, the Frames are so CHEAP! Been waiting on refund since 2/12/2016 if not back by 2/18/2016 will file a charge back. Done with this!"

"I've been buying glasses from 39Dollar for a while now. Sunglasses, driving glasses, reading glasses. Reading sunglasses even. Used to be I'd lose my glasses and be looking all over for them. Now they're all over the place. Seriously though, it's nice to have affordable glasses conveniently located. I keep a pair of plain driving glasses and prescription sunglasses in each car plus reading glasses in the house. I am starting to feel a bit like Elton John though."

"Everything was fine until I actually received the glasses, which were bent. Not just a little bent mind you, I mean bent at a crazy angle at the bridge. To add insult to injury, whoever bent the crap out of the frames then carefully aligned the arms so the glasses sat square like they're supposed to. I assure you the picture on the website looked nothing like what I received.

Then they didn't answer multiple emails and it took staying on hold on their toll-free line for I honestly have no idea how long before I got an RMA request in. (Un)helpfully, then they didn't bother to send me the RMA email with the shipping label and ignored emails about THAT so it took more waiting on hold to get them on the phone. I'm guessing they were slow-boating to push to the end of the 10 day guarantee period.

This experience with 39dollarglasses was so bad it makes my teeth hurt thinking about ever doing business with them again. Avoid, for the love of god, avoid. You can literally pick any other glasses-by-mail company and probably get a better experience."

"I had lost my original glasses and was glad to obtain a pair from 39dollarglasses website. I liked the price and they arrived quickly (In a week) but the left side of the glasses was off kilter. If I push the left eye glass arm up about 1/4 inch..then they work and then the bifocal lines up correctly."
