"I ordered 2 pair of Rimless 1 Gold. When I received them, one was the correct frame and lens, but the screws through the lenses were not cut off and were extremely long. The other pair had the right frame, but the wrong lenses (very large lenses). I contacted customer service and returned both pair to be corrected.
When I received the remade glasses, the long screws had been fixed, but the glasses were extremely dirty and one of the earpieces was bent.
The pair with the wrong lenses had the correct lenses but silver frames, not gold.
Apparently, the is little or no final inspection of glasses with this company. I had even requested them to double inspect the glasses, as I was told to do when I had similar problems with a previous order."

"The glasses shipped on day 6 which is within their stated window for glasses of the type I ordered. No problems there. I had problems with the glasses prescription and the frames though. We do not know if the prescription problem is something 39Dollar Glasses did or if it is the fault of the doctor who wrote the prescription.

I talked to 39Dollar Glasses, Ricky A in particular, and he was fantastic. I got a return label and RMA for the original pair and the remake pair. He shipped me, at no cost, another frame to try. I am waiting on the frames to arrive so I can see if they are a good fit. He made a note on the account to have someone review the prescription and other things related to the lens when the glasses come in.

He treated me like he valued my business. He was respectful, and empathetic to the issue since he wears glasses himself, and he convinced me that his company wants to get this right.

39Dollar Glasses may not be the cheapest online eyeglasses store to buy from, but their customer service is second to none. They offer better quality frames in my opinion based on what I have seen by researching two other online companies. They are significantly cheaper than the huge retail chain that I researched that I could have visited locally.

A big plus is that I talked to a native New Yorker. Someone from the good ole USA. One of the other companies, had someone who sounded like they were overseas who was handling the call. No offence to them, but I prefer to work with Americans and support jobs here in the USA."
