"I purchased a Canon Rebel T3i camera from 42nd Street Photo. The price was better than most retailers and the product was securely shipped and exactly as described.

My only minor complaint is that they had to contact me by phone after I placed the order to check whether I wanted them to require a signature on delivery (I have never had a company call to ask this before). Since I was on vacation, it delayed my order by a week."

"I ordered a Nikon 3200 Kit. Its was an obvious open box though that wasnt stated on the website. The body was new and had a shutter count of 1 (the photo I took). It had been taken out of box and rewrapped. The lens on the other hand had cosmetic damage to the silver trim ring and mucked up glass. Neither cap was in place and they were floating freely in the bag. They did offer an exchange or refund but since it all works I probably won't follow up any further since the price was so low and extended warranty slips were in the box covering bot lens and body.
