"I ordered item number 106517, a Canon 5D Mark III camera, from their website because they had one of the best prices listed. I called to change the shipping from 7-10 day to UPS 2nd day air. I was called back by Jack who informed me that the camera I had ordered came with only a 10 day in-store warranty, a detail not revealed on their web site. Not knowing exactly what to do, I agreed to purchase a three-year warranty from them. Jack did not inform me that the warranty was not refundable.

This morning I called the store and spoke with anthony, who informed me that he was a manager at the store and did not have anyone to whom he reported. Anthony was unbelievably rude. Today, for the first time, item 106539 appeared on the web site identifying the same camera as a retail item for $3199.99. Now both items appear on the web site.

The web site does not state for item 106517 that there is no 1-year Canon warranty.

When I tried to cancel the warranty, I was told that I could not and that Jack had not been under any obligation to tell me that it was not refundable. I was told that I had to know to look up that piece of information myself.

When I tried to cancel out the entire order, Anthony very rudely told me he would not. He simply refused to cancel an order. He also rudely informed me that I was getting a 3 year warranty in lieu of a 1 year manufacturer's warranty and why was I questioning that. When I told him that the choice was mine to make, he hung up on me.

I strongly recommend that nobody ever deal with this scam again.

The store did not ask me to write this review. Given the treatment by them, why would they? What ever happened to customer service? "
