"I purchased a battery pack sold on Ebay by 47th St Photo. The battery pack was advertised to fit my Olympus camera model. When I received the battery pack, the packaging did not show it to be compatable with my camera. I was instructed by 47th St Photo to try it anyway. The cables supplied with the battery pack would not allow for connection to be made from my camera to the battery pack. I called 47th St Photo back and spoke to someone named John. He first of all would not listen to what I was explaining to him.
He acted like my purchase was too small to bother him with. He treated me like I was an idiot. I was offended. He gave me the phone number of the manufacturer of the battery pack. The person there wasn't even familiar with his own product when I explained the impossibilty of connecting their battery pack to my Olympus camera.
To advertise that a product works with a particular model camera when it doesn't seems to me to be false advertising. I don't think I will do business with 47th St Photo in the future.
