"I purchased a Minolta camera in an eBay auction from 47th St. Photo. I found their price competitive as the auction was a purchase only format. Other bidding auctions were ending at prices $20-$50 higher and with only half the warranty time available. The auction itself was accurate, concise with no deceptive practices. Moreover, shipping charges were HONEST and ACCURATE, not execessive like many of the "shipping profiteers" of tghe photo category on eBay. Total cost to ship the camera and lens was $12, not the $25-$35 exploited by other sellers. At the end of the buy, I received a notice from 47th Street, with purchase price, shipping costs and confirmation of address-before eBay's end-of-auction notice arrived. An error occurred during the auction, probably by my fault. I called 47th Street, indicating that I only wanted one camera, not two. Esther professionally and quickly, corrected the situation. She located the internet auction and told me that the error had been corrected. She did not pressure me for any accessory purchase or expensive shipping. I completed the transaction over the phone. The camera and lens arrived three days later, well-packed, with invoice and all printed materials. I received a follow-up e-mail from 47th Street, thanking me for the purchase. As a testament to their quality, I had purchased photo equipment from them 30 years ago, continuing to this present day. I still am receiving competitive prices, HONEST shipping, thorough communication, and courteous assistance sales people. I had no trouble getting through to them during their business hours (they open their switchboard at 10am EST sharp), and I remain impressed on how quickly they found this order, checked it, corrected it and treated me with the utmost respect. I HIGHLY recommend them as a reseller!"
