"Even though it's been nearly 3 years since I purchased my ABS computer, Antonio in Tech Support quickly resolved my one and only problem I've ever had with my ABS Ultimate V3 PC. Cudos to ABS Computers and Antonio!"
"That's the first time I bought my computer with
ABS and I have to say I'm impressed.
First of all I did my research and initially i was planning to go with a dell. Then reading on pcworld that ABS were really good i went on their website and started to play with the configuration. It came out that with the upgrades/modifications i wanted, ABS was cheaper than dell! One example was the MX500 mouse from Logitech. Dell charge you $50 more and ABS only $27. When you have a bunch of mod it adds up quickly.
So I ordered it on a Tuesday night and got it the following monday (with the default delivery)!.
That's what i call dedicated service!
It came very well wrapped and everything was there, well presented and organised.
I just had to plug in and voila!
So far my dream machine is working like a charm, very powerfull. I'm so pleased that I spread the word around me for ABS.
Thanks ABS for such a great job on my computer!"
"Great Experience, Fast and helpful Service. Company was willing to knock off a few $$$ for an immediate order. Will definitely repeat with them."
"The 10,000 RPM SATA Drive was so new, it is not even advertised on their site. I sent an email and they responded within hours stating they would be happy to install the 10k RPM SATA drive as it was compatible. The follow up with shipping information came the next day, and it arrived ON TIME!!! This Awesome 3500 series is loaded to the HILT and cost 40% less then Dell's finest machine (which is not even as powerful). Not only will I definitely buy from them again, but my room mate who is an IT man, is planning on recommending these machines to all his clients.
It is too soon to say how good the after-buy customer service is as my machine is new and has no issues....but if it is 1/2 as good as the experience so far......I'LL BE VERY HAPPY!
Great work ABS!!! Keep it up!

"Purchasing my computer from the ABS website was easy and quick. The order was filed and shipped quickly and on time. Communications were excellent allowing me to track the shipment. The System arrived packaged well. It was a breeze to setup and I have been extremely happy with my system so far. ABS will be my first stop when it's time to upgrade or buy another system."
"My first experiences with ABS were unpleasant due to sub-par customer service and a defective laptop I bought in January.
However, after learning about my unpleasant experiences through resellerratings.com, Ariel and Rosemary called me to right the wrongs in my ABS experience.
With a problem, there's alaways an opportunity to turn something negative into something positive, and ABS's managers have done just that.
Rosemary offered me a new rebuild of my laptop at no cost, and shipped the laptop overnight express to my door. This saved much time and also eliminated my down time.
I understand that not every customer service experience can be positive, but ABS's management is there to stand behind their customers and right wrongs when something doesn't work.
Overall, Rosemary and Ariel have been a great team to deal with. These managers have done the right thing to win me back as a loyal customer.
Thanks Rosemary and Ariel."
"Quick Delivery, Got here on time the way I asked for it and works perfect. Can you ask for more?"
"In general, I've been pleased with ABS and my laptop, a "zForce F2", that I bought back in Feb. When I bought it, I ordered over the phone and they cut some $$$ off of the price that was listed on the website; I think this is pretty common.
What I didn't appreciate was them tacking on an additional $30 "assembly & testing fee", which was NOT listed anywhere on their website, that I saw. Not knowing this was a B.S. fee, I paid it. Fortunately, I was reading a review of ABS laptops over at notebookforums.com (which I *highly* recommend before buying one), and saw other people complaining about it too. Turns out it's more like a commission fee, because some people were charged and others weren't; I think some were even charged more! Then, an ABS employee responded to the thread, saying that if you emailed him, he would get the overcharge credited to your charge card! And after a couple emails to him (the first one went unanswered - I waited a week and a half), I did in fact get my money back. I would suggest ordering over the phone with these people, because you can save some money, but be very careful that the numbers add up correctly, and they don't tack on a hidden fee.
One thing that I'm undecided on, is how fast I got my laptop. On the one hand, having it arrive at my house *48 HOURS* after I ordered it on the phone, with free shipping, was pretty damn cool. I even live on the opposite coast (VA) from them! The fact that they verified my credit card, built it, and shipped it, in roughly 4-6 hours, was incredible. But, that probably means they didn't test it very thoroughly. They even say on their website the perform a "Burn In", but I know they didn't, because there literally wasn't enough time for that, based on when I placed my order and when FedEx's site said they shipped it. As long as I don't have any problems that they could have caught with a real burn-in, them I'm happy. Oh, and I should note that I recommended ABS to a friend of mine, who bought the zForce F1, and I think he said it took them a week or two to assemble it. Maybe that's because it's not nearly as common as the zForce F2 (based on the number of people online talking about F2 and writing reviews, etc.)
As far as the actual laptop goes, I'm happy with it. I think ABS is a good enough company, and when you compare their rating to Dell, Gateway, or HP/Compaq, they're pretty damn stellar. So far, I'd give them 9 stars out of 10. But then, I've only had my machine a couple months, and haven't had to test their tech support yet...

"Great service, great product. Completely satisfied with my purchase."
"Awesome 3500 excellent system for the price. Received system within 8 days of order and system arrived well packaged. Work perfectly right out of the box. "
"Went to Cnet to check out rating on home computers, and found Abs site because they rated it good.Compared it with dell, hewitt, gateway, and found abs price to be better.I had a Gateway 733 mhz, pentinum 3,and was looking to upgrade to say the least. So configured the 3500 (budget was 1000)and talked over the phone sales rep and got 50 dollars off to where the price was 928.
The stats were 2.8 pentium 4 ,maxtor 120 GB hard drive,G force 5200 video card,logitech 5 piece surround sound,wireless keyboard ,and mouse.sony dvd drive,and NEC DVD-+ burner 4x.
When i got the system in 5 days,i was ready to test it on some games, lol. However there was routing table error and could not get it to boot up,so called tech support and they told me they would send a new motherboard out to replace the old one.Got the Asus motherboard in about 4 days ,and they sent a onstite tech to install it.
They had to find one because none was within the range to come and install it.I called Computer Solutions,a local PC place, and they said they could be signed up as a tech for them.ABS called them the same day,A guy came out the next day of ABS notifying them and installed it.
Once the new motherboard was installed ,it has had no problems.Playing unreal 2004,and other games i could of never played with my old Gateway now ;)Now i am trying to get my brothers and sisters hooked up ,ABS style. Thanks for the fast support and help.

"It went reasonably well. I always recieved friendly service and, at least so far, when issues or questions have come up they have been addressed, quickly and fairly."
"So far, it's been a great experience. Probably the most informative and user friendly computer purchasing web site around. I was able to spend many months evaluating what was available and what I wanted to purchase. Spent lots of time going from ABS site to various other computer purchasing sites and back. Comparative shopping at its best. True, ABS's available cases and some components changed over time, but always it was ABS which had the best deals for me when all the specifics and details were considered. I was going to build my own system but I probably couldn't have done better than what was available from ABS. My final purchasing experience went just as smoothly. I was able to get exactly the desktop system that I needed at a highly competitive price (relatively inexpensive) and have it delivered more than 3000 miles across the country where it arrived on time, well packaged, and in pristine condition. It's only been a few months so far, but the system, which runs virtually 24/7, works absolutely flawlessly. As a 25 year veteran of many (often negative) computer system purchases, I see no reason why the ABS system should not continue to be a delight for a long time. And, should some component crap out after its warranty period expires, the excellent quality non-proprietary internals are so well arranged compared to other systems I have experienced that I have no doubt that troubleshooting will be a relatively benign experience. As a consumer, I suspect the only reason that ABS Computer Technologies is not a household word is because they choose to remain a nimble relatively small but high quality operation. Dell! You should stop sending out all those expensive, glitsy, and misleading brochures. They only give people a point of comparison to use when browsing the ABS web site."
"The computer was exactly as I would have hoped. Took a little long for shipping but other then that everything is good."
"I love this computer. It's one the best I've ever come. I got everything I wanted with a low price. I love the dimensional colors."
"Computer has been great so far. Great PC w/ great function. And their customer service is really willing to help me when I had an issue. Even though it was really minor (manual package torn), they worked as it were the really big issue. I can imagine what kind of great customer service I would get if I got troubled into larger problems (luckily it hasn't happened to me)."
A rep from ABS Computer Technologies, abspc, has responded:
“Dear Mr. Hung,
Thanks for your support. I will personally look into the issues you've raised about 2Net and the way they represent our interests. They have always been great in support of our customers as they have been our Extended On-Site Support provider for a time now.
I also wanted to apologize for the sub-par service that one of my staff had extended to you. Again, I will do my own research about this issue and act accordingly.
As promised today, ABS will build a new ZForce F2 notebook PC for you, ship it Thursday next day air and we'll even pick-up the defective one from your house, all at no cost to you.
I look at opportunities like these as ways to show ABS' willingness to go the extra lengths for the total satisfaction that we've always promised
our customers. It is ABS' unconditional promise of absolute service and if in the process, you are not satisfied, let us know that we may be able to correct ourselves.
All the best,
