"Even though it's been nearly 3 years since I purchased my ABS computer, Antonio in Tech Support quickly resolved my one and only problem I've ever had with my ABS Ultimate V3 PC. Cudos to ABS Computers and Antonio!"
"I recently purchased an Awesome 3520 computer. I am very pleased with the system. I received the system in just over a week after placing the order. It is evident that care and attention to detail were taken in assembling the system. The cables are neatly routed and securely anchored, and all the various external ports and features provided by the motherboard (USB ports, Game Port, SPDIF connectors, etc) were installed. Even the most recently released version of Windows XP (service pack 1) was installed. Included with the package are the manuals for the main components of the system neatly organized in a binder.
The system is composed of high quality parts including an Asus P4T533-C motherboard, an Intel P4 2.53GHz CPU, 512MB of Kingston 1066 MHz RDRAM, an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro video card, and an Antec SX630II case. I have thoroughly tested out the system for the past week and find that it is extremely stable and its performance is at the top of its class (for a 2.53 GHz CPU) in nearly all categories. Never once has the system faltered with all the tests I have given to it.
No other computer manufacturer that I am aware could match the price. A comparable Dell system was $300 more, and comparable Micron and Gateway systems were even more expensive. The one thing that caught my attention the most in the configuration process was that you list all the name brand components that are being used to assemble the system. I knew exactly what I was getting. With Dell, Gateway, and Micron, you are never sure exactly what components you will get (they change components from day to day) when you place an order.
Overall, I am very pleased with the system and am happy with my decision to purchase from ABS Computer Technologies. I have a top notch system for an excellent price. I would recommed that any one interested in purchasing a computer include ABS in their list of companies for consideration.

"They are the best computer seller i have ever worked with. And you can add to your system with no BS. "
"I ordered a PC from ABS, and so far my dealings with them have been nothing less then extraordinary. I just moved and my address on my credit card didn't match my new address. So ABS emailed me with the problem, I called the bank and emailed them back. I recieved a confirmation that the problem was resolved within hours. They also confirmed that the latest drivers will be installed on my PC prior to shipment. I will update once I get the system, so far, excellent job ABS!"
"This ia a follow up from a post I made on 10/16/2002.
My computer was shipped and received within a few weeks after my order was placed. The computer arrived in perfect condition and it was very well packaged. It fired up right out of the box with no problems. I have now had this system for almost a year and all I can say is this was a great purchase and an excellent shopping experience all the way around. As for their tech support...no clue...I've never had to call them except for once and that was over a problem with the hard drive that I caused myself. But the tech did tell me I could return the hard drive and they would ship me out a new one. Although I got the problem fixed and I didn't have to return it, it was still nice to know the option was there. If you're looking to buy a new computer, I highly recommend taking a look at this company. GREAT JOB ABS!!!

"I spent approx two months comparing the prices from major computer makers that sell only on the internet and those through retail stores. ABS by far had the best bang for the buck. Service was excellent and everything was delivered on time."
"I totally enjoyed my experience with ABS Computer. Every department I dealt with was courteous, prompt and efficient. I purchased a Awesome 3120 computer and am completely satisfied with it. I would buy from ABS again."
"Turn around is quicker than "elite" gaming companies like voodoo, alienware, hypersonic, and falcon, and they look it :). Tie job is 2nd rate, and manual is useless. No major complaints though. "
"Great prices. Although they state on their website when you order that it might take up to 5 days to process your order, I do find this to be unacceptable. In addition they charge your CC as soon as you place your order even though they have yet to ship your order. This should be changed to just a CC hold and then a full charge when the order ships.
While my order did only take 24 hrs to process, this turn around time should be shorten when you place your order well before 12noon PST.
Other than that. The prices were great and they do keep you upto date with emails on shipping information. I would order from them again as long as I didn't need may order right away."
"Two thumbs up! I ordered a GF4 Ti4200 on the 12th and the card was here on the 17th, just as they said. Works perfectly. Would definately buy here again, recommended!"
"All of you at ABS Computers deserve the best ratings out in the market! In the past I've always brought home a computer from a store; this time I was determined to get what I really wanted. I bought An ABS Computer...I hooked it up at home, and it QUICK!!! I couldn't find anyone that could offer all the components that I wanted at the price! From start to finish, the entire relationship with ABS was flawless. The order process was smooth, I got exactly what I ordered, it was delivered on the exact day promised, I'd recommend an ABS computer to anyone in the market!!! It was such a pleasurable experience. I have had my ABS computer for about a little less than 1 month now and am pleased to say that I feel it is one of the best purchases I have ever made. The Corel software that was bundled along with the system is just perfect for my kids. They found it easy to use. Easy hook up as well as an excellent job on the routing of the wires and placement of hardware on the inside making it very easy to upgrade in the future. Last but not least I must commend the service. Maria was the best sales rep I have worked with to customize my system to my specifications! Thank you Maria! It was a very speedy order over the net with a very timely return call to confirm my purchase, all topped off by excellent shipping. No other competitor would have offered as much, it performs flawlessly.
ABS uses top name brand components really making this purchase a "no brainer.
To those of you out there that have read the reviews –Abs Computers gives you the best bang for your buck!

"Great buying experience. Great system too. Will recommend this company."
"I purchased an AMD 1900 system from ABS in Jan. 2002.While hesitant to mail ordered a computer, I was not happy with the retail products such as Compaq or HP. After looking at numerous web sites and magazines I decided to go with ABS. I did see some negative feedback posted and shared my concerns with my customer service rep. He said that we usually only hear from dissatisfied customers. I also find this to be true. Its been 9 months since purchasing the system and I am very happy that I did so. The system came with Windows XP installed and I was not happy with it. I called the CSR and they sent me a copy of Windows ME. I then called Tech Support and was connected with Craig who walked me thru the formatting and installation of ME. He was very patient with me and made the process a breeze! From that point on I have had absolutely no problems and would like everyone to know it. I would recomend that anyone looking for a new system consider ABS for their purchase."
"slow as molassess ordered items on sept. 2 items didn get shipped untill sept. 10. yet had no problem charging my credit card on sept. 2nd. fast to bill slow to ship buyer beware."
"EDIT: 9/13/2002:
PC is still GREAT!
3DMarks: 10138 - not as high as I'd like, but still pretty awesome.
My one complaint is that my PC tends to get quite hot. It would have been nice to have an extra fan in the case, but it's not terrible.
--ORIGINAL POST--

Total, including shipping: $1466
So far, it's working really well, and I'm quite impressed.
I was a little disappointed that my system was shipped out about a day late, but, then again, it was only 1 day, and I was also able to get them down to $70 (from $90) for FedEx Express Saver shipping.
I benchmarked my system using PCMark2002 by MadOnion.com
CPU Score: 5263
Memory score: 3264
HD Score: 1138
I haven't run 3DMark2001 yet, because it's 30MB and I haven't had the time to download it. Fear not: I'll download it, and post my results here.
Also, I have to say that FedEx is really stupid.
My system was shipped out on 8/15 from CA -> NY via FedEx Express Saver (3 day air). It arrived in NY on Monday, and 2 of the 3 packages (tower, monitor, speakers) were delivered that day. The 3rd (the speakers) were listed as "not scheduled for delivery." I called up FedEx to ask, and they were like, "Well, it's 3 day air, so it can arrive on Tuesday." I answered, "That's fine, but isn't it stupid to drop off 2 packages and not the 3rd?" Apparently my logic didn't work, and my speakers were delivered today (Tuesday), whereas my PC was delivered on Monday.
I give ABS high marks. They did a good job on my system. I only wish it came with better or more software. And I wish they had installed whatever software that was coming with my PC on to my hard drive before shipping it. Oh well, I guess I can't wish for everything.
It came installed with all the drivers, and MS Windows XP Home, along with some DVD software, but not much else.
On the plus side, all the software, along with documentation came in a very handy-dandy binder which keeps everything nice and organized.
Bottom line: solid PC, low cost, good results. :)"
"Avoid this company like the plague. Their sites raves about customer support and it's full of crap. I ordered memory from them listed as $169 on Pricewatch. On the website, the price was $209. I left a note in the "comments" field telling them I wanted the $169 price, not the $209. I never received a phone call or email regarding the difference. The package arrived approx. a week later and the invoice said they charged my card $209!!! Obviously I called the company immediately about the difference. I spoke to about 6 different people over a four day period, half of which just handed me off to someone else. They would put me on hold OVER AND OVER again and never indicate why they were randomly doing this. Eventually I got to a supervisor who was about as helpful as all the other customer support people. He also put me on hold several times for what seemed to be no reason. Eventually it came down to they could not honor that price of $169 because they use real time pricing so they couldn't give me the memory at that price. Well, HELLO! Pricewatch is ALSO realtime. How long does it really take to change the price on pricewatch. My options then became either return the memory for a full refund or pay the $209. This company is ridiculous. I highly recommend avoiding them. Oh, and their so-called SUPERVISOR, yeah, he DOESN'T return phone calls, so don't waste your time leaving voice mail about a problem.
Added 9/18/02:
After customer service saw this posting at ResellerRatings and a comment was left with Pricewatch.com about the problem, I was contacted and they are now going to refund me for the difference. However, I will note that it still took some extreme actions after multiple useless phone calls."
