"Almost two month later, and I still haven't got my money back. These guys scammed me out of $600, then when I left a negative rating for them, to my surprise they actually contacted me offering a refund. This was two weeks ago - they claim they refunded the money via electronic transfer, even emailed me a forged receipt for the transaction - money's still not in my account. I refuse to believe a bank transfer takes 2 weeks. They've now stopped responding to my emails - YET AGAIN.

I'm amazed by the sudden influx of happy customers here - these guys are either blatantly incompetent, or blatant scammers. It wouldn't surprise me at all to learn that all the positives are faked - after all, the only people who have even posted more than one resellerratings review are the ones posting NEGATIVE ones. Avoid these guys at all costs - nothing but lying scammers.

"First I received a message back from the vendor that the order had been processed and was pending shipment; next thing I know I get this:
"Due to our recent change in Credit Card Processor our system for purchasing
with Credit Cards Is Currently.Down. We have inegrated in a new processor
for this but will be a few days before this can be finalized. You still have other methods of paying for your order Via E check or Mail
order method. In which any affect we will issue you next Day shipping free
of no charge."
Naturally, I cancelled the order.

"i made an order and more than a month later, i am still waiting. They apologized for that, but sitll, i have no product yet, and their apologies wont bring it to me.

The order was made 10/8/2004 and today is 11/17/2004 and i have only get the same mails as the other customers on this site, I have sent a lot of mails to all their addresses, and i have just received the auto response from two of them, that they will contact me soon. I am now going to place a complaint with BBB. They are just liars, and are taking all the money from people.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEM, THEY ARE JUST FRAUD.

"This company is terrible. I placed an order from them for the main components of a system (motherboard, CPU, disk drives, etc) totalling $662. I couldn't get an order status from their web site, only got recorded messages from their phone number, they never returned calls, and didn't answer most emails. They charged me but never delivered. Finally after about two months of working on it, my credit card company reversed the charges. I'll never shop with them again. The few dollars extra I'd have to pay at a more reputable dealer are well worth the avoidance of the hassle of dealing with ADOSYSTEMS."

"This company is a joke. DO NOT buy from them. It will take you at least a month to be able to get in touch with them, and 2 months before they actually 'ship' your order. Then it will take another month for you to be convinced that you're never going to get your order shipped. I should have known not to trust this company when they've been having a 'credit card processor' problem since the beginning of the year (if not longer). AdoSystems kept blaming the shipping problem on UPS, saying that UPS picked it up and signed for my order, but it must have gotten lost in their possession. This happened twice. I don't believe a word of it. Somehow I got AdoSystems to send me a refund. If you forgot to do your research on this company, just be persistent, send multiple emails everyday (because they have a real hard time answering the phone) and tell them you want a refund; don't worry about getting them to ship your order. They'll just send UPS the billing information, and nothing else. Complete joke. Period."

"I had ordered 2 WD SATA 200 GB hard drives and the order was not processed for about 3 weeks. After the 3 week time, I was sent 1 of the 2 hard drives. "I placed an order with this company on Aug 16, 2004. Before I found all the bad posts of course I fell for the CC processor and sent them a money order for the full amount. I was told i would have the products second day and was happy. Two weeks later I contacted the company and they issued me a UPS tracking number that showed the products were sitting at the store. After about a couple more weeks I got in contact with Mr. Dilan himself and he said it must have been lost and he would resend all the parts and I was issued two more trcking numbers that showed the same thing as before. I have since demanded a refund and yet again got a phony USPS tracking number this time. I since have recieved nothing from ADOSYSTEMS and am still seeking a refund after well over and quickly approaching three months. NEVER do buisness with this company they are out to take your money and run.

I recieved an email from the BBB stating that ADOSYSTEMS was waiting to see what happened to the goods that UPS supposedly lost. Since this post I have also been send another false tracking number this time for a refund via the USPS. Then I recieved an email from Mr. Dilan himself saying they tried to issue and electronic refund, which was a lie because since the CC processor and I had sent them a money order they never had any information that would have allowed them to issue and electronic refund. Mr. Dilan asked for a contact number from me and I gave him both my work and home number and it has been a weeka nd a holf since then and now all his contact numbers have been disconnected. Don't do business with this company because if you have problems and you will you are the one the is going to be up the creek. My order number was ORD2004081619 and It was for about 1500.00 dollars worth of goods. If there is anyone else out there wanting to go in on a joint law suit send me an email at ****@****. It is time that we put a bad egg out of buisness.

Still I have not recieved a refund from this company despite the fact that they did send me a valid shipping number with a request to update my negative feedback on them. Needless to say I was waiting to actually recieve the check before I updated anything. After Christmas I checked the number that he had given me, stating that it was my refund check to find out that it was delivered somewhere in AZ. Mistake, I think not, this was an attemp to get me to retract bad things that I've stated about this company. I am filing a complaint with the NY Attourney General and will be sueing this company if a refund is not issued immediatly. I need serious people to join in so that we can shut this company down so more people don't fall victom.

"Placed an order early October, order didn't arrive at my door until THREE WEEKS to the day after they received my payment.

NEVER able to get them on the phone, all calls are automatically forwarded to a voice mail system, in the three weeks I only spoke to a real person once, and that was when I was making payment arrangements.

After 3 messages left on the voice mail and 5 emails, I was finally contacted with a tracking number. However the tracking number was BOGUS! I emailed them again 5 days later, after learning the tracking number was bad, and demanded either verifiable proof that a package was on the way or an immediate refund. I received an email back with a valid tracking number this time and the package arrived airmail 2 days later. Bear in mind that the package wasn't even shipped until this time, which was 2 days shy of them having my payment for 3 weeks, so in reality it took almost 3 weeks for them to ship!

Obviously from the other reviews people have had similar problems, however I was lucky enough to receive what I ordered. NO explanation was given why this order took 3 weeks to arrive.

In all fairness I received exactly what I ordered in excellent condition, and aside from the wait time the price was outstanding. I suppose the wait was worth it to save over $40-$50, HOWEVER I honestly believed I had been ripped off and wasn't going to receive anything, considering they didn't return my calls or emails and they gave me no updates on the status of the order. From everything I've read here and my own experience with ADOSYSTEMS, I'm very confused what their deal is.

"UPDATE: 11/29/04!!!
LIES! LIES LIES!!!! Oliver is completely lying about delivery. He has blatently lied in his response comment below!!!!! Hey Oliver, prove against this UPS tracking number that my package arrived!!! 1ZE200A70398304220 Billing information received does not equal delivery. You are so wrong. If this guy had any honesty, he would have called me by now to clean this matter up. But he doesn't and good luck to anyone who trys to get thru using their number. No one will pick up!!!!

In October I posted a message pointing out how awful this company is as a warning to all potential customer. Along with another frustrated and disappointed customer, I find it EXTREMELY DIFFICULT TO BELIEVE that all of these SUDDEN positive experiences in working with this outfit are true. When I created my posting, Adosytems had a reseller rating of just barely a 2. There were numerous complaints varying in degree. I STRONGLY CAUTION anyone from ordering from this outfit. Currently, I have been scammed out of about 500 bucks. I have filed with the Better Business Bureau and currently am discussing with fellow lawyers the prospects of taking legal action. Again, the sudden increase in positive regard to this company is a shocker and is not likely to be true. Mind you, past posting have revealed Oliver Dilan to have been taken to court before for not fulfilling his orders. I am a current example. Despite his response to refund my payment on November 4th where he states the following:

This is to make you aware that we have rceived your email and request for a refund. We have been delayed in issuing out the refunds because of some
merchant issues but the situation has been cleared. All refunds will be issued out in the manner of Certified Company bank Checks.
