"I purchased a HDD from them, because they had a good price on Pricewatch. I ordered it, but they said their credit card machines were down, so I payed "check by phone". 15 days later, NOTHING. They drafted my account, but no phone call, or email with shipping information or tracking number. I have left messages 3 times, and wrote an email to two of their addresses. NO RESPONSE. I am only a few states away, and from experience, it should only take 3 days to ship. STAY AWAY. They probably lost their Credit Card service for a reason!"

"I ordered an Abit motherboard and a P4 processor from AdoSystems cause they had the lowest prices on pricewatch, and they never send me the items. When i asked about it, they gave me a bogus ups tracking number that that never received the item from the shipper. They never answer calls unless it was to pay them. And once they pretended to have shipped the items, they never answered anything. no emails, no phone calls. Do not buy from them ever.

They responded after a BBB compaling and supposedly sent out a refund. That was a month ago, yet i have not seen a check in the mail nor any other type of refund. Unless they can prove that i cashed the check, which i know they can't i will not change my ratings. I have called about the missing check with no response they have the balls the blame me for not changing my reveiw.

This is to inform to any person interested that on last december 27, 2004, i finally received a money order for the amount of money i sent this reseller. Acording to usps, the money order was sent on December 20, more than 30 days after this guy wrote on here that he had sent it. Make him send me the refund i think was the result of two sues i filed against him and i would suggest anybody affected to do so. I also wrote emails to adosystems hosting web company, and other related to his business institutions something that i consider made a pressure over him to find a solution to this case. I had also to call him many times and lost money and patience with all these events. I could not complete my hardware upgrade plans according planned and had to buy the product from another better rated reseller. I would suggest NEVER do buissiness with adosystems and would ask Oliver Dilan to stop his practices. The most negative and disatisfied opinion will be given by me to anybody who asks.

"Well, I have called these guys three times with no answer. Left a voice mail and sent two emails to them to cancel my order and I have yet to hear anything. Apparently, they aren't really into the whole customer service thing. Good thing their credit card processing wasn't working when I made the order so I won't have to call and place a stop payment on it.

Can you believe this? These guys actually sent me an email offering me a free hard drive if i would come on this site and another site and give them a good customer rating. I think it's quite obvious that they only have time to pander to people who can be bought with cheap hard drives (that will probably never come in the first place) rather then concentrate on actually providing good customer service. Or heck, i would have even been satisfied with a simple response from ANYONE there just letting me know that they got my email and had cancelled my order. Again, everyone STAY AWAY FROM THIS SITE!!!!

"Look somewhere else for your computer needs. I ordered a video card from them, BIG MISTAKE! They charged my card the same day i placed the order, then after about 4 days i decided to check on the status of my order. A sales rep emailed me telling me that their servers were down and that they couldnt fulfill my order so i could expect a refund in 3-4 days. Two+ weeks go by and no refund! Ive called twice and left messages in addition to multiple emails with absolutly no response. And to top it off now they are rejecting any emails i send and their phones mysteriously are temporarily out of service. Needless to say ive contacted my credit card company to dispute the charge. STAY FAR AWAY from ADOsystems! "

"Sata hard drive was ordered on 5/16 and amex card immediately charged $177. notified by email on 5/19 that due to processing problems ADOsystems would be unable to deliver product and that my credit card would be credited with full amount. i emailed adosystem on june 9 and informed them that credit card had yet to receive credit for $177.Recieved email from them on june 14 stating that there were "PROCESSOR" problems. On june 29 i emailed them again demanding refund. Received email on june 29 from Adosystems stating they had mailed me a full refund that day.On July 11 i emailed Adosystem yet again informing them that i had yet to receive any refund or credit. On july 12 i ereceived email from Salesperson requesting i contact their office by phone
repeated attempts to get through to their number have been unsucessful.

On 7/25 i filed a complaint with the Newyork BBB ( something i would recommend all who have had dealings with this company do post haste and emailed Adosystems a copy of the complaint ( as of this writting they have several submitted in last six months) I received an Email from them this am that simply asked if the item had not been delivered to me , I responded that i was not going to play games with them was well aware of their rating at this website and bbb
complaints . the response was that they were going to contact American Express if by today there was no credit issued or anything pending they would mail me out a full refund for 177 overnite.


We shall see

i immediately informed bbs that case was not resolved and that i had NOT received any refund.
also forward bbs email to Adosystem and let them know case was not resolved ...the response via email was that they had tried to issue a refund electronically but that apparently it was not going through...


... but wait did he not tell the bbs i had been paid my refund on 6/15/04.

"BUYER BEWARE!!!!!!

I was directed to this site by www.pricewatch.com. I was in the market for a 250Gig HD SATA. ADOSytems.net advertised one for $168. This was the lowest price I could find anywhere, so I decided to take a chance and order this drive. BIG MISTAKE.

After placing my order, I decided to check the site to see what the status was. This was on Thurs 7/15/04. Their Order Status page was down, saying the Online Store was closed due to Server Maintanence and that it would be down Thurs 7/15 to Thur 7/16. Right there I was worried. Seems that I was not the only one with this problem.

I sent an email to the Sales email and received the canned message back saying a rep would contact me soon. Yeah, right, and the sky is green!!

Although I did receive an email, it bascially told me that their system was down, but that they would upgrade my shipping to Next Day and give me a $25 gift Certificate. So I decided to give it a day, and on Sunday 7/18/04 I still had no notification that anything was shipped, and their site was still down.

I sent a somewhat nasty email in response to the last one I had received, and was suprised to get a response from Oliver himself. Although all it was was a receipt that my order has been refunded, it was some good news. Later that day, I got another email from sales saying that my order would be cancelled and that I would see the refund on my card. I waited and waited, and sure enough, I actually did get a refund. Guess Oliver was getting worried that ppl might start to file lawsuits against him and his company. I was all ready to send a compalint to the Attorney General of New York.

So just a little bit of advice.. IF the offer looks too GOOD to be TRUE.. It's a trap. Hope no one else falls into this trap, while I did get my money back, it seems some ppl did get royally burned by this company.*

"This is the beginning of a log-history of my dealings with ADO Systems at ADOSystems.net. I was running a web-search for a reseller offering the ASUS V9980 FX5950 ULTRA AGP card. The card was priced at nearly $500 last March, and I've been watching to see prices drop as nVidia introduced its FX6800 line of graphics cards.

ADO Systems popped up in my web search. I explored their web-site and made a seat-of-the-pants judgement that they were a reputable reseller. In the past, I have gone to ResellerRatings.com and Bizrate.com to check out online resellers through customer reviews. In the past, I have always been very careful. In the present -- this time -- I took a risk that I may regret.

I went through the web-forms and ordered the ASUS AGP card at around 3PM PST July 14, 2004. After checkout, I felt ecstatic that I had found the card at the lowest price available for virtually zero shipping charges.

Then, I went back to their web site to review my "Order Status". Suddenly, the web-site was not available. That's when I checked here at ResellerRatings.com.

Later that evening, their web-site was suddenly available again. I went to the "Order Status" link, which reported that "order status" would not be available from "Thur 7/16 through Thur 7/17". The message noted that the online store was "closed" for "Maintence" to their web site, in a desire to bring a "more conventional way of shopping" to their customers.

On 7/16/2004, I sent an e-mail to ADO Systems, noting that the temporary authorization charge had already been made to my credit card, and that I was aware of their poor reviews at ResellerRatings.com. I requested that they send me e-mail confirmation of "order status" and a shipper "Tracking Number" by close-of-business, July 19, 2004. Their web site suggested that they take up to five days to ship an order, so this deadline was reasonable. I susgested that if they had not shipped the order and could not provide tracking, to send me an e-mail explaining the reason.

It is now 4:05PM PST July 19, 2004. I have yet to receive any reply from ADO Systems. In the meantime, the temporary authorization to my credit card has now been posted to my credit-card account, appearing in the billable balance to the account.

Today, I sent ADO Systems another e-mail, explaining that I would wait for their e-mail response until noon PST tomorrow, July 20. I have yet to receive a response. I also called both of their phone numbers, only to be greeted by a recorded message advising customers to visit the ADO Systems web-site and contact them by e-mail. I left a phone number and asked that they return my call. As of this moment, I have had no live contact with ADO Systems.

UPDATE: 8/23/04. Per advice of my creditcard company, I have submitted "disputed charge" form. I have mailed them everything concerning my communications with ADO Systems -- copies of e-mails, transcripts of tele-cons, etc. I offered to submit affidavits to the NY Atty General, urging my credit card company to pursue the matter with a vengeance.

"WORST PLACE I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH
NEVER EVER ORDER FROM THEM

I placed an order two Sundays ago for a motherboard I needed that said was in stock according to the website. I needed it in by last Friday, and since I live around 10 minutes from the guy I figured no problem. Charged my CC on the 28th

I call last Monday. and get voicemail and leave a message. No call back. So I call around 15 times and always get voicemail.
Last Tuesday. Leave a message in the AM get no call back. Call about 15 times during the day. FINALLY around 4 PM. I get a guy. He said item should ship today and I should get a tracking number via email. Checked email that night and didn't get one

Call Weds about 15 times- Voicemail over and over
Call Thurs about 15 times - Voicemail over and over. Leave message and send him an email. STILL NO CONTACT
Call Friday about 15 times- Voicemail over and over

Its now Tuesday and I left yet another message. I am calling my credit card company tonight if I dont hear from this clown and have the charge reversed.

"The monitor was the best price out there. I waited a while to get it. Called and talked to them and they said they would rush delivery. Issues with UPS made it so I couldn't track it. Still took a while. Finally, I received it in the mail after many phone calls. It was a bit of a hassle but for the price, I could deal with it."
